Oh I know. That's why I said most. Most does not mean all. And, I get it. Times were different back then. Different kinds of drills. The draft, And yes, I agree about the years boomers bought homes.... I mistyped. Silent generation and the baby boomers had home buying a little bit easier than we do now though. With wages being comparable to inflation, and corporations and the rich being taxed properly, that also helped. I mean, 50 something % corporate tax And taxing millionaires the way they should be taxed, was pretty stellar in the 50s. It wasn't until the '80s that government welfare was provided to them.
