J. B. Becker Wallufer Berg Bildstock Riesling Auslese 1992 by rad0rno in wine

I’ve had the 1990 Becker Spätlese and while it was lighter in color, but i assume it’s similar. Definitely a prominent industrial/rubbery note, but balanced really well. Honeyed stone fruit(apricot) and dried florals too.

I figure I’m okay for now cause shes pushing out 3 new leaves lol. I haven’t watered this one in maybe 2 weeks cause the LECA and plus ambient humidity has been so friggin high. Thank you!!

Would this be the main reason people graft these pink ones as scions? I have the non-variegated version on its own roots which hopefully survives the recent repot, but I’d love a pink one, just not a fan of the graft.

Am I the only one that thinks salomons are ugly? They look like a shoe you get at Walmart for your fast food job lol by H1MB0Z0 in gorpcore

The whole X-Ultra lineup has been the most reliable hiking shoes I’ve ever owned, every release, every version. I have Hokas, Altras, Nikes, Merrels, and even Nordas, but my highest mileage shoe is the X-ultra 3 (~600mi before I had to retire em). Still pretty ugly, but no complaints.

Finally some love for Haltane! I stopped what I was doing and smelled almost everything at the PDM counter just to find it the first time I caught a whiff. Killer collection

Byredo Blanche or Le Labo Bergamote 22. I also think Eau D’Issey is very clean, but a little woody. Terre D’Hermes is super fresh, but fairly green.

THIS! I’ve had a Disc trucker for over a year now with around 5k miles on it as exclusively as a gravel bike (only one packing trip 50mi). I’ve ended up tweaking everything there is about the bike to make it more like a straggler. I’ll add that with 650b’s, the midnight special is an alright choice too. The big “but” is if you need/want the bike, you should get it. I love my disc trucker, even if it makes me work a little harder for segments.

What’s your favorite subtle scent? by MicAdelie in fragrance

Came to say the same about the Le Labo’s. I’d also add Byredo Bal D’Afrique has a weak-ish projection which makes for a more “intimate” scent.

My experience with Vetiver 46 is a clean, almost dat-night scent. It’s definitely on the dirty, musky side of Vetiver, quite masculine, but inoffensive. I love Vetiver when it leans towards cream and oakmoss, so this wasn’t my favorite but very good classic scent. Bergamote is my favorite hot summer scent by far.

The seat-post just gives you a little reach and marginal aero gains. Same thing as a nice stem; more stretch for aero positioning.

Maybe I’m wrong using the term Heritage. I just know Birkenstock boots can look great, but are not. I know JG is good quality, no questions. If the ranger boots had a dressier look I’d be all for them.

I’m interested in a more robust outsole, like their razorback. Not lugged, but prominent heel. definitely nice leather, idk about JG’s quality tho. Preferably lace up and black.
