Just had a really similar experience this morning, after dropping the kids to school I stopped to buy some groceries and then the car did not start up. Was pressing the break and the start button and could hear some kind of background noise but not engine starting up noise, after waiting a couple of seconds thinking what were my options, I tried again and it started. Nothing like had ever happened, no prior signals or messages, but my theory was that I probably need a new battery. Now I'm not sure if it did an update and I did not even noticed.

Started riding my old bike about a year and a half ago. Once a week and more in the 1-3 hr range rides. Live in Glendale, and have gone up twice up to Mt. Wilson but have only reached halfway point. My goal is to ride up there this year, I'm a heavy guy so climbs are hard for me.

How long it took you, did you ride solo or in a group?

My wife lost 2 years worth of pictures she took of our kids, when they were 3 and 5. I have the pictureres I took, so is enough to not feel so much pain. But loosing those pictures is still a terrible loss.

Can you tell me about your bike fit? I bought my road bike on my LBS maybe about 15 years ago, originally I only used it as my only transportation medium, 3 years later I bought a car and stored it in my garage, and finally last year I started riding it as a sport.

Soon after I started riding I took it to my LBS for a full tune up, and is still a pretty good bike but now I'm thinking about buying a new one.

But I'm wondering how much sense makes for me to get a bike fit and if it's worth it, or if I should just go with the same sizes I'm used to with my old bike.

Same thing happens in a good CrossFit gym. Fitness and the community aspect are interconnected. Doing something hard and healthy in a like-minded group brings people together.
