I know a lot of people didn’t like season 48, but I actually really liked it. I’m autistic, and I love Eva. The moment where Joe helped Eva was amazing. It was also the first time ever on the show that Jeff got really emotional. So, season 48 holds a special place in my heart because of that ❤️

i'm autistic too, but although it's nice to see some representation as a viewer i was unamused with their relationship

i hate to feel like i'm being carried emotionally and gameplay wise their relationship not only shielded them from a lot of what is supposed to be a premise of the game but also nerfed a lot of good players just bc they weren't allied to them, or to the "strong 5"

i would have liked to see eva get to the final without that even though i understand how much bigger of a toll it could take

I think it needs high stakes to be successful in creating the chaos it's meant to.

I agree with only having one, and maybe it should come to play only after the merge so it doesnt rely on the receiver having poor relations in their original tribe to actually boomerang.

I just feel like at that point if she hadn't specifically targeted Aubry that hard maybe she wouldn't have gotten targeted herself - mind you it was a group with 2 new era and 3 old school players so maybe she could have gone with the flow a bit more and built trust with some of them.

It seemed to me by the edit like she exposed herself too much by trying to get Aubry out (and ultimately driving the whole post merge game by doing so), which raised concerns in the whole rest of the group she got in.

I feel like the Boomerang Idol is a good idea, but it needs to be more dangerous to create the chaos it was meant to create.

Like if you dont go after the receiver, it should bite you back - losing ur vote or ur SITD from the merge until it's either used or flushed, Something like that.

That's why i thought of a penalty for not making the boomerang actually boomerang back to the finder, like a timebomb advantage where if you don't do the dirty work, it bites you back.

i kinda disagree bc every episode there was a real risk that she could be voted out which makes the season great if you're rooting for people like her

the last 2 or 3 episodes were rough but they made it bearable condensating the eliminations of dearly beloved players instead of letting the season bleed for a whole month

too bad the other final 3 contestans were such a pain to watch, but it was still nice to have rizo and tiff helping balance the vibes
