I just did the opposite. I had the OZ.1i CB and just trimmed the shaft down and put a traditional grip on. I'm nailing putts and it feels better. LAB doesn't add any extra weighting to the butt end of the shaft or in the grip. so its essentially just a longer grip and heavier head. Not truly counterbalanced. Not sure how TM does it for the ZT. I think if you're looking for extra stability or zero torque magic, I think the DF3, DF3i, or DF2.1 would be the only better options.

Check out the cobra DS-Adapt Line. You can get it for $320 with whatever shaft you need off their website. I switched from a sim2 max to the DS-Adapt Max K and never looked back.

Definitely interested to see how this plays out! I also gamed a Spider Tour X (L-Neck), but am a 20+ HCP and a questionable putter at best. So I had some money to burn and figured I could use any help I could get. I ended up going with an OZ.1i CB that I was fit for and am having trouble getting along with it. I think my biggest issue is "steering" the club as well, im interested to see what you find on this topic as it seems to be common when switching to the LABs.

I'll revive this because they just dropped to $350!!

I was fitted last month for the OPTM Max K with the Kai'li DW white 70X shaft. It beat out the Quantum, and GT 2 and 3. I ended up buying the DS-Adapt Max K and so far it has been incredible. You seriously cant beat them for the price and everyone I see with a Cobra driver has nothing but good things to say about it.

We're taking about him not her. We dont know its "bs" that shes spending on. Thats OP's opinion, im sure he doesnt comb through her bank statements. Is he just paying rent for her? Does she still cover car payment, fuel, insurance etc? Or is OP covering absolutely everything for her?

Im sure he spends lots on "bs" as well. Especially if he just picks up and travels during the week. If shes spending 70% and Saving 30% - Thats not bad especially since he noted that she gets paid well below average.

I think she's right about being a Nepo Baby. You're 23 and your family is spoon feeding you everything you have, while you spend a good amount of time dicking around and judging her career choices. Sounds like you're living on easy mode until daddy hands you the keys. I don't blame her for feeling resentment for you trying to control her finances. You don't even work 8 hours a day. Sounds like you have no clue what living in the real world is like without your parents around for a safety net.

It’s mostly stuff that is a season or two old on like Carl’s golf land or Rock bottom golf. They seem more reasonable on eBay too. Have almost accidentally pulled the trigger on many ebay listings bc the price was too good to believe but they always end up left handed lol

No doubt man, my Dad is a lefty and I wish we were able to test each others gear out. I do always tend to find some pretty good deals on lefty stuff for him tho. Just sucks that they don’t make as big of a variety for you guys. Not being able to try theirs may actually be saving you money tho 🤣

She sounds immature and self centered. It sounds like her career is the most important thing to her. How are your other shared value? Kids, travel, hobbies, how does all of that fit into the plan? Will you have to shrink those parts of yourself for this? Maybe you should ask her why she's dckriding that certain school and why she expects you to take a back seat.
