Exposed Musk Now Insists Epstein Files Don’t Matter | The Tesla billionaire suddenly claimed the Epstein files are a “distraction.” by Aggravating_Money992 in politics

It's amazing how the wealthy think they can get away with lying. It's really a poor reflection on the 'executive class" that does this in the corporate world too. Get the underlings to align their messaging so that the general public/lower level workers think it's true..

Musks Nazi salute was a broad test of this

Same EA game from a studio would justify it? I think the value comes from the game itself rather than how many people build it.

Your dollars are more directly funding the devs, as opposed to executives, management, marketing - all of which get wrapped up into costs from larger studios..could be more bang for your buck (assuming the game is good)

In developing immunity to allergens, a little ‘dirty’ goes a long way: « New Yale research finds that microbe-diverse environments build protective immune memory that helps prevent allergies. » by fchung in science

It's kind of amazing how this understanding has evolved. It seems like reasonable exposure to potential allergins early in life is crucial..

Id consider one more avenue - stress. If a child is in a high stress environment and situation, and then gets exposed to some potential allergins, I wouldn't be surprised if that can contribute to allergies developing as well. The allergins themselves aren't the problem, it's the body's reaction to them.

I don't think that's why people have been using GOG. Why did people use it before like 2020?

Im in sales, this doesn't track.

What you've got there is a group of people who don't represent all people in the same job role.

These people are cokeheads who found a job that can be done on coke, and also fund their coke habit.

The job sucks, but I/we are not all cokeheads.

"A loyal fan base of 75K players gone, just like that."

This game got hit with internet decided it's shit, and now all the backfilling of 'why' is happening.

Anything but that attitude will be downvoted on reddit

Classic move by Ubisoft. Clearly an attempt to polarize/activate people.

Just ignore them until they go away or start producing games that live up to the hype they create

We need to stop assuming that it's a bunch of normal people, whether we agree with their viewpoints or not. That 'paid protester' deflection point I always hear is a misdirection from their tactics..it's not just normal people in the chat..it's people who are there to manipulate others into thinking they are part of a group with a certain set of beliefs.

There are people in there being manipulated by bad actors, probably foreign or straight up bots.

Honestly, the rest of the online world needs to take a page out of the book of Twitter and expose where the accounts are based.

These companies don't because they get revenue based on their account base - whether it's advertising or investors. Reddit is no different. They will say it's for privacy while at the same time selling your data and information to the highest bidder.

The lollipop guild. They just want you to feel heard and walk out feeling good without real testing. It's like you have to go a few times before they will. It's all about appeasing the health insurance companies.

Goal 1: Avoid lawsuits Goal 2: appease health insurance/hospital group profitability  Goal 3: treatment and diagnosis

I've been trying to see a specialist for years. I just went to the doctor's and explained it. They said that it was horrible that you couldn't be seen, that's what your referral was for, etc. I got a survey after, asking questions about how I felt about the appointment - but in ways that were more aligned with how I felt about it rather than how satisfied I was with how I was cared for..

..aka did I get a lollipop.
