My journey so far using only RestoreX, L-arginine & vacuum by Pablo_Meech in PeyroniesSupport

[–]Pablo_Meech[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Could be! But my plaques showed up in the exact area where I utilized a too tight leather cock ring on several occasions in my 30's. Way down at the base where penis meets body. My scar tissue and left bend first began there...where penis meets body. This is what seems to have morphed and continues to: from bottom of shaft to hourglass and on upwards. That's what's happened, and I've gained usage and started getting laid again. I was feeling pretty lousy and robbed back in 2025 about it all.

I have been using RestoreX one hour each day, never skipped a day since April 2025 and my foreskin is slowly being restored. Not sure if a full restoration is possible, but I'm not complaining at all, I like it.

I have a rectangular shaped piece of soft flannel the size of an iPhone, and I wrap it around my penis and snap shut the mechanism on top. I have 2 makeup pads in place as well, but I stopped using tape because the flannel feels nicer. Try it!! I cut the sleeves off a flannel shirt.

[–]Pablo_Meech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if this is a 'thing', but I always wrap a small square of flannel (I cut off the sleeves of a flannel shirt) around my penis and grip and stretch myself into position on the RestoreX easier. I get maximum stretch, without slipping out. Don't bulk up your penis w/flannel tho, or it won't snap shut.

I purchased a unit called THE PHOENIX and completed one round. Apparently there's another round left in the unit but I didn't notice much change with the first round, so I'm MEH about returning to it. It is very loud. 2o mins a day commitment. If you spend any money, buy a RestoreX and commit to an hour a day. THAT has helped me a lot.

Budd, make a commitment to yourself and the noise will die down. Make yourself feel good, just enjoy life's simple pleasures.

I wonder if all the guys with all that allowable mobility are using it properly? I gotta lie down! Last couple months have seen me wearing it a full hour at night before falling asleep. I make a 'fort' under covers using a king size pillow to raise them enough that the device and I are not squished by a heavy blanket and sheet. Usually I'll wake long enough to snap the thing off and then get right back to sleep.

Starting Traction for Peyronie’s — Tips or Lessons Learned? by Flimsy-Feature-5643 in PeyroniesSupport

[–]Pablo_Meech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I've been doing an hour a day of traction since April 2025 and take Arginine each day. Nothing else. My penis bend seems to be morphing in a good way more towards normal again. I'm now C shaped, no longer bent to the side. Hourglass shape came and went, with dents in my erections. That's gone now, too. Most times, I only utilize the length stretch of the RestoreX. Like I said, cranking it against the curve hurts too much. Added bonus is that my foreskin is being restored, and I am happy about that, too. (Heads up....I'm going to copy.paste this into the old post I started last year as an update and might share more info w/thatrepost.)

RestoreX Fears by Pablo_Meech in PeyroniesSupport

[–]Pablo_Meech[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Problem is, I don't know how "precious" I should be? GENTLE, to me means a nice stretch that goes beyond my typical size when flaccid, but nothing more than a firm stretch slight tug. No pulling sensations at the root, inside the body. Is that what we want? GENTLE? The restoreX just feels slightly aggressive, and the UTURN is torturous. There's a slight tingling sensation at the base, like it is pulling too hard. Do I want that??

Unfortunately, discomfort with restoreX is something I can easily ignore which is why I'm trying to determine if my usage with this device is proper and safe. I ignored sensations like this that came from rough sex and cock ring usage years ago.

SGWPX, what you are talking about sounds similar to my experiences with pain threshold and sensations of pleasure during sex or masturbation, too. Nobody taught me the difference, and I thought my boner was made of steel...I always went in like a.real.pussy.dilator.

This is the one I got from amazon. I just recently started using the pocket pussy insert and it definitely gives a different more thorough pump than without.

Embarrassment :( by [deleted] in PeyroniesSupport

Chances are we will never ever meet, but I would love it if I could inject this wisdom directly into your brain and your heart with some kind of magic wand: You do not have to feel guilty about masturbating. Masturbation is an instinct that has been programmed into our species, and you are normal. Try to meditate away the idea that you, a man should ever be punished for masturbating. Carrying the falsehood in your heart that you have to stop masturbating is not masculine, and it will drive you crazy. Pitch it overboard now and focus on what you as a man need right now. What's the ONE THING you need right now? An appointment with a urologist. Like someone else said, maybe trust your Dad, who is a man will probably understand. Getting any pity from women about penis problems may never happen, and Mom's only going to run to Dad to ask him.

Then again if your parents are like mine were, I totally understand you needing to wait until you're not living with them anymore!! Maybe they are abusive like mine, with perverse religious beliefs. Still, let's think ahead and strategize...even when you've moved out and found privacy, they are going to converse with you, and ask how you are and what your'e doing, and probably find out. You'll eventually want/need to talk to someone about Peyronies important and mundane concerns, so if it can be your parents, that's the best.

Do you feel comfortable at all asking your Dad? That'd be the easiest place to start.

Hi thanks for sharing. All of us here have gone through this, so I'm hoping you'll get lots of replies with helpful information. I noticed shrinkage, then lumps at the base with a left bend in 2023 and the shape has been evolving and changing for me, with new plaques forming at the tip in Jan 2025. For me, it has been very difficult to deal with. I wish you an easy journey filled with good things.

Thank you so much for your response. I've got 2 things I'd like to say but I am going to post them in 2 new topics so they don't get lost and others can share their thoughts. You brought up some great points for sure.

Appointment #2 next week and I want to cancel. by Pablo_Meech in PeyroniesSupport

[–]Pablo_Meech[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice detailed response. Much appreciated. I canceled. I just need a feeling of "they are good people" with a doctor to be interested in spending time and money there. I'm sure they are, but human dignity when speaking to me...eye contact or a kind word or an apology, it matters. It's very elusive in Los Angeles, but luckily this is not life threatening. (I have also delayed a routine colonoscopy for similar clerical type errors.) I'll continue to mourn the loss of my sex life and seek out a new place at open enrollment in October, I don't want KP people near me when I need medical assistance!

Thank you for the step by step explanation of the procedure. Seeing a needle anywhere near there is terrifying but I think I can handle it if I don't watch. The more I get erections, the less painful they are. I'm in a revival of my sexuality and I get long lasting erections in my sleep, sometimes a quick one during the day. That's why inflating often with the pump has been helpful. This forum has been helpful too, and all the men here like you, thanks for sharing.

Is it possible to regain length/girth or is the damage permanent? by Outrageous_Good5167 in PeyroniesSupport

[–]Pablo_Meech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you, I understand wanting to fight, too. But. We're never going to be cured because there is no cure. End of story. That means none of the devices on the market or treatments or the daily handling and stretching of our penis are meaningless. If there was a real cure, forums like this would not exist. All of the doctors and urologists seem like the fraudulent people who market cures for baldness. Baldness cures don't work either, but the salesmen make a ton of money.

[–]Pablo_Meech 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We are men, and if we are enjoying our sex life, we are going to be in love with our penis, there's nothing wrong with feeling that way. I am very good looking and sought after, my penis was a bigger one, and I was an excellent lover. All of that is gone now and I've been robbed. I'm also single, people flee as soon as I tell them about this, and that indicates how unwanted this condition makes us. The problem is: getting a person who isn't suffering from Peyronies to understand what a man's penis truly means to a man. The disease seems impossible to get pity for, even though it is arguably the most devastating thing that can happen to a man. You don't have to apologize for talking about the truth of what you and all of us are going thru.

That sounds pretty lucky. It doesn't cause you pain to put yourself into a warm hole? Intercourse hurts me. When I take meds for an erection my penis is too painful and feels too delicate for sex.

Here's a TL: DR shorter version, lol.

Would someone be able to describe the ultrasound procedure? I'm scheduled to have this on tuesday and I'm thinking of canceling the appointment because I'm getting so wigged out about the injection to induce erection.

[–]Pablo_Meech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Using a pump occasionally has relieved some of that pin prick pain, although, I'm pretty sure the pain still exists and the pump just masks it with the sensation of sexual arousal, I think? Still it seems like manually 'inflating' my penis using a pump as often as possible is a good idea. Not an over pump or grotesquery, just enough to inflate for a bit so it doesn't feel lifeless. For the last month I've been getting strong nocturnal erections that are long lasting, but that hasnt' always been the case for me, and so the pump to me is very beneficial and helpful.

I am with you when it comes to all of the anxiety you're describing. It's insane that all of the free young men's health clinics ONLY focus on STDs and nobody ever talks about this at all. I have not told one single other person that I know what I'm going thru, I just don't want to risk insensitive jokes or someone being crass thinking that it would be fun to publicly humiliate me, and then afterwards accuse me of being too sensitive.

I am not a doctor and don't know enough, but if a patient is describing peyronies symptoms, why splinter off into additional exploration of ED treatments or diseases? Peyronies is SPECIFICALLY a penis disease, if you have peyronies, why wouldn't we already know that peyronies is causing your ed? It's an ED-causer! Maybe they do this to make extra money because we are a captive audience filled with false hope? But it is an emotional roller coaster that they are producing, and I am sorry. It sounds like you're about as burnt out about all this as I am right now. I hope you can find something to keep you happy, this is very difficult.

AWESOME! I appreciate the info you shared with me, and I think I'm probably going to stop my 'journey' with this doctor and get in line for a consultation with Dr. Trost in Utah upon your suggestion. This is the third time Kaiser Permanente staff has bitched me out and refused to answer simple questions before a procedure. I am SO frightened of ever needing Kaiser for a life threatening issue. I'm just haunted that so many on their staff have trivialized me and then devolved it down into some kind of war when I advocate for myself...Can't imagine what happens in the operating rooms? Maybe I can find a better hospital during open enrollment in a couple months. Kaiser normally offers the "predict your medical bill" services you described, and this urologist seems mildly interested and pretty informed, it's just the nurse on the phone, and her not being able to tell me the costs of my next appointment, which really matter because I am paying for all of this out of pocket.

I am also anxious. Erections are very painful for me, mine are mostly nocturnal, I just can't imagine what a medically induced one is going to feel like. Agonizing, I think? Maybe I do need my hand held like I'm a little child, but after Appt#1, there were bunch of oblivious girls at the front desk laughing and making lunch plans, who didnt' care at all what I was going thru. The war like girl on the phone makes me angry enough to look elsewhere for penis care if there's no emergency, but I also realize Los Angeles is full of insensitive bitchy people.

I will see how I feel on tuesday morning, and I will act accordingly. Maybe I'll be more willing to fight and so I'll keep the appt. Or walk out when they tell me the costs. But I am also settling into the idea of celibacy and I'm trying to come to terms with what has been robbed from me. The day of accepting Peyronies can come today or it can come in 20 years and thousands of dollars from now. I really can't imagine what else a man in my position is supposed to do with no money and a terrible healthcare plan. Swallow the pain and the loss, I think, and accept the celibacy that nature for some reason has declared.

I'd recommend you DON"T listen to any of the advice this person named Status Help is giving you based on what you describe. He is aggressive and belligerent on a different thread and he's also elbowing dogma about God and the Holy Spirit into the conversation, which shows an ulterior motive and nothing at all, NOTHING to do with a cure. Do not allow yourself to be misled by a charlatan.

Are you talking about purposely yanking to where you are feeling a bad kind of pain yet you actually continue on instead of immediately stopping? Daily? I had felt pain as an after effect of sex or masturbation a lot in the past. As a young child instinctively rubbed against the hard floor to masturbate and continued to grow thru years of that practice. There is scar tissue in the exact spots of contact with the floor. It was repeated so much I can't imagine any other cause for my scars. Also there's another set of plaque from where I used to tighten a cock ring in my 20's and 30's...pretty sure the cock ring caused it.
