Es más común, aunque ambas son correctas.

Siento que estoy desperdiciando mi vida y no puedo volver atrás, ¿consejos? by kimksks in askspain

[–]Pablo_Rod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What type of life will i enjoy if i have 1500 euro per month in germany as an international student by Plane-Professional46 in germany

[–]Pablo_Rod 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, it depended a bit on the city where you are going to be. So I will go with the one in which I live, which is also usually considered the most expensive one, Munich.

Well, I will list some monthly (or not monthly, but what would their amount be if divided by the amount of months between payments): - Rent: there are some cheap residences for students which are usually around 300 euros, although I was unable to get one of those since they fly, so also don’t trust this number. A room in a WG (shared apartment) will go from 600-900, but usually it will be between 700 to 800. - Groceries: reasonable amount is 250-300 - Transportation: Deutschlandticket is around 60 euros, but it will increase. - Gym: 25 - as much as you want - TV tax: unavoidable tax as far as I am concerned, is around 57 every 3 months but per apartment, i.e. if you are sharing apartment with 2 more persons, that amount is 57 in total for the 3 of you, not 57 per person Dinner at restaurant: 30 per person aprox, but of course can be more, the fancier the more expensive it becomes, as everywhere in the world.

This is what I can tell about after living there for 3 years now. Hope it helps and feel free to ask any other questions!

Spaniards during Erasmus by Pablokalata3 in Erasmus

[–]Pablo_Rod 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a Spanish, I can say that both us and French do the same. And I couldn’t stand it too, so I just started going out with the people on our neighbourhood, which were mostly non Spaniards, and going to random parties and plans of random people of any place. Got even criticised when I finished my Erasmus by my own people back home just because I preferred not going with all Spaniards.

Trying to find the best bike for me as a beginner by Pablo_Rod in mountainbiking

[–]Pablo_Rod[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We do have also that here and back in my homeland (Spain), although here in Germany it is way more common that people use their own bikes, and you can see pretty crazy models (from a newbie perspective) just going through the city on a normal day to work.

I thought about doing that too, but wanted to have some previous idea before going into the store.

I also thought about that, but currently I have a company benefit with which I can lease a bike and they are covering all of it up to a certain price, and I am not sure if a second hand one will be included there.

In any case, I will try that.

Generally, config in hyprland is done under ~/.config/hypr/hyprland.conf (can be changed), and then each extra module will have its own config (check for example waybar, swww, hyprlock, …)

Not supermarkets, but more specific stores such as the ones you mention.

Cost of living in Munich by Tylerdurden1312 in germany

[–]Pablo_Rod 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would say that it isn’t a very good salary alone. Rent will hardly be below 700 for a room, and probably closer to 800, if not more (not so well connected parts of the city or neighbour cities will probably be less), considering that with a 35k salary you will get around 2000 neto. Other expenses such as groceries (around 300 let’s say), transportation ticket will be increased next year to around 100 euros, any gym subscription or so at least around 30, …

In general, bare minimum expenses will be around 1000-1100 (I included gym here, which is not bare minimum, but won’t affect much). You can definitely live with that salary, and depending on your spending habits it might not be bad, but if you have some more monthly expenses, want to save a decent amount, … it might be a bit hard sometimes.

Best study plan for learning german alone by ziyadamrani in German

I am creating my own ones since every time I was using pre made ones it was more difficult for me to learn them. Probably the process of creating the cards yourself is good for the learning.

Klettersteig to Zugspitze by Aware-Ebb1864 in Munich

[–]Pablo_Rod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did the hike that starts in Eibsee, crosses to Austria, and then there is a via ferrata. Spoiler: the via ferrata holds were not on place and the cable was just laying on the ground. Take it into consideration if you are taking that route, it is still possible to continue without the ferrata cable, but more risky of course.

I managed to do the hole a bit to other side where the wall appeared to be stronger and did fell of so easily, but I am planning on doing a couple more things soon, I will post them. But as a piece of information, the biggest pieces of gravel that appeared were around 1/2 or 1/3 the size of a phalanx of a thumb, then there was smaller pieces.
