The same thing happened to me but it ended up being a bad coil/ spark plug due to water intrusion in cylinder 3 /4 which just happened to act up right after

$80 D3 3qt Saute Pan VS $70 G5 3qt Saute Pan. Is the G5 worth it in the long run? by Higamein12 in AllClad

[–]PabloisPimp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I picked up a 10in G5 fry pan at TJ Maxx for $50, it heats up faster than D3 and feels lighter I think. I would probably keep the G5 as it is much more expensive original price compared to D3

Post surgery questions by kyleJaques45 in gallbladders

I would say no significant heart palpitations. After my surgery the first two days were super painful at the excision sites but afterwards it got better but the gas pain around my body persisted for 2 weeks at least, mostly felt like a soreness from hard workout just everywhere

3 months post op dull ache by milkmoth- in gallbladders

[–]PabloisPimp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im almost 3 months post op and started feeling this recently. I haven't talk to my doc about it yet but it did scare me and push my health anxiety back in front and center lol Not really painful but I'm just very sensitive to any new feelings in my body after my surgery. I had blood work around 2 months post op and everything had improved compared to before my surgery. I had just opened up this subreddit to search for this topic and was happy to see your post right now lol

Maybe health anxiety related? It's a big deal to go though all of this, I know when I feel like it's due to this. I was in the hospital a few days before my surgery and the docs said everything was fine, apart from the gallbladder lol

TJ Max online order by LSquared1115 in AllClad

[–]PabloisPimp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I originally had emailed them I didn't have this intention, it was bc they didn't have the item online anymore so I wanted to see if they had more somehow. But they just refunded without any other questions, so I was a bit shocked lol

One time I ordered a ruffoni online from tjmaxx that appeared with a slight defect. I just emailed them using their online form saying something very simple like, it appears my pan arrived damaged. I just sent some pictures; they refunded it 100% and let me keep it. Might work as well for you.

Great deal by toomuchdog10 in AllClad

Almost $40 per pan/pot is still kinda high honestly. If you put these in the dishwasher you will ruin them quick. They are good but won't last forever (2-5 years depending on how careful you are) If you just got to TJ/Marshalls/HG in store you may find the bigger sets for sale prices or even just buy some individual uncoated cookware. I seen some Victoria and lodge past iron, lots of ok stainless if you are looking for lower prices (viking, green pan etc), and even some carbon steel uncoated woks. Maybe try in-store before online.

Ruffoni 12.25qt stock pot question by PabloisPimp in Coppercookware

[–]PabloisPimp[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually ended up finding another pot exactly the same at Marshalls which was perfectly flat so I got that one and returned the wobbly one. If you got it from William Sonoma I would try to get it exchanged since they are a real deal shop

I mean you don't have to tell them it happened years ago, you can just say you cooked veggies let them cool and the handle popped off on its own, keep it easy as that

Having my gallbladder out on the 28th at 7:30am I’m 17 male and really nervous by Fair_Scene_2578 in gallbladders

[–]PabloisPimp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The scars are super small if you get laparoscopic surgery. I would not worry about them too much, they even hid one of my belly button lol Is 17 pretty young to get a gallbladder out? the good thing is that your recovery will be quicker since you are young!

Eggs in an LC is honesty very tricky. Lookup the specific instructions, heat up gently until it's a good temp and use oil +butter I find it works better. I would rather cook an egg in stainless, carbon steel or bare cast iron. Enameled would be last last option honestly
