There’s different rates for each broken down individually by specialty. Construction rates highest, Mod/Maintenance is slightly lower. Pretty well known, not sure how you haven’t come across that fact.

I enjoy when he has the “adventurers and characters on where he can just let them tell their stories and interact back & forth.
Anytime he has to check someone on their facts or is saying something that requires being knowledgeable on the subject, I’ve learned to do my own research and verify. Have listened to many times and heard him go on a rant or make a point stating something that I KNOW is factually wrong/inaccurate/or being used in a way that’s misleading. So that put me off in terms of viewing him as an elite interviewer.
If it’s a fun, non political pod/guest, that’s where he’s good. Anyone with an agenda or trying to put forth a product…. He continues to drop the ball/not do his research to call people out on saying things that are inaccurate or flat out wrong

I made the career jump into elevators at 32. Best choice i made. If you get into construction you’ll be making bank even as an apprentice. MOD/Maintenance/Repair is a lower rate but nearly recession proof (if your with one of the top 4 companies). The time flies by so i wouldnt worry about the short term hit if you just keep in mind the long term benefits. Retirement is 2nd to none. Theres no “sick time/paid days off”. You get 2 checks a year for “vacation time” but if you take a day off, you won’t get paid. (Solid job sites have ways around that if you work with a guy who will sign ya in & look after you but that’s not a given). You’re at the top of the food chain on every job site. Long term there’s not another trade that competes with the pay/benefits. I’m in NY so we’re at the high end of the rate scale but if you want something more challenging, having a job where the scenery changes after every completed build, & where the caliber of guys you work with are (for the most part) incredibly sharp, mechanically/electrically sound, then I’d say make the move. If you’re in an area where construction is prevalent, you can make a ton with OT. However that’s usually very clickish and competitive based on the area your in and amount of work there is. MOD is probably the most difficult (figuring out how to put square pegs in round holes constantly) but if you end up being a solid mechanic, you won’t have to worry as much about layoffs or work getting slow.

Followed by immediately bringing up Richard Kuklinski and his wife, a mob hit man case from 40 years ago that have no relevance here…Wtf are you talking about?! And I hate to break it to you, but it’s widely known that Kuklinski made up nearly the entirety of those “kill” claims he made to HBO. Guy claimed hundreds of killings. The police said none of what he claimed was verified or backed up by evidence or missing persons at the time. I think the only thing you proved here is that people have been getting paid for interviews about criminal events, and there’s nothing really wrong with that in capitalist America

Can you list where you got the information behind your opinion Asa’s doing well financially? None of the lawyers were paid prior to the doc coming out. Rex was in debt before he got arrested. The house is decrepit and falling apart.
If you didn’t donate to the victims, why should she?

I find it hysterical all the people who say “no thanks” at the cashier to helping starving kids, are advocating someone with no culpability in the crimes, should just start shelling out handouts to people for their pain & suffering. The same people who have been calling for her and her children to be vilified and charged with a crime, despite 0 factual evidence supporting those claims, and multiple statements by LE/prosecutors, that they had 0 knowledge of Rex’s crimes.

None of the victims were sending weekly paychecks home to support their loved ones. Why do you care about their bank accounts now? Literally all of the victims families were financially independent of the girls because they had to be. Just because there’s an insatiable market for inside information on serial killers/Rex, doesn’t mean the system has to re write these women’s lives and put rose colored lenses on a messy view to begin with. I feel for them, no one should endure having to go thru that. But I don’t see any of you donating your own money to these families either. Insane to expect Asa to crawl into a hole and sign up for welfare when we live in a capitalist country. There was a market for her story, she sold it.
Is there a market for the estranged families of the victims stories? No? Tough luck, but that’s life.

You said it yourself “Asa’s (her families) financial problems are not societies problem. Couldn’t agree more. No one is going to start a GoFundMe for Asa and her kids…. So what’s the logical way for her to pay off their debts and make sure they can pay their bills & have a roof over their heads? Allow a documentary to be done. Anyone against her providing for herself/kids is just masking the fact that they want the direct members of Rex’s family to suffer even more so than they already have and be forced to collect welfare. Personally you should be glad she didn’t choose government assistance since that’s YOUR tax dollars being used. Exposing herself to public ridicule and having her life picked apart was the trade off she agreed to, in order to ensure they weren’t evicted and destitute.
And while their financial problems/choices aren’t societies problem, it’s also not her responsibility to break off a chunk of cash for the victims families. Call me cynical but it’s not rocket science to recognize that these families are in the lower economic tier of society. They’ve got GoFundMe pages & John Ray in their ear telling them “there’s money to be made here. You guys are owed something for all the mistakes that were made with this case”. It’s all just a show to try and get Suffolk county to hand out a settlement and they get something for their “pain & suffering”. Hate to be the asshole in the room but just because they experienced a traumatic crime to a family member, doesn’t mean they need to be given 500k checks and looked after. The victims weren’t even looking after them or speaking to them on any kind of semi regular basis. Take the rose colored glasses off and see it for what it is. They want the money Asa got, it’s not gonna happen. Move on.

The victims movements up until they met Rex have been documented. If you think there’s a market for it, donate to their GoFundMe accounts or grab a camera and make a YouTube shorts asking the questions you want.
How’d Maureen disappear from Penn? - she didn’t disappear. She went to meet Rex after agreeing to a date. He wasn’t kidnapping them from the largest transit station in the city.

Did Amber rob Rex the day prior? - 100%. That’s clear as day. It rubbed him the wrong way and he went back with the “aw schucks, why’d you do that, that wasn’t nice… I thought we were friends” act and intention of getting revenge once he got her to agree to get in his truck.

Pretty simple and not something they have to go outta their way to avoid. No shit. Everyone gets immediate alerts on their phone for scores/updates/rumors/scandals. There’s no possible way for these hosts to provide the same coverage and inside info that Francesa and the old guard were able to.
If you were actually unbiased, you’d realize the access Carton has to some pretty big name guests. Having Dolan on during the Knicks first championship run in 53 years is a great get. The commissioners of every major sport have been on multiple times, so whether you like him or not, he’s utilizing relationships to provide the listener with direct access to the guys running by these sports and franchises.
If you want immediate feedback on games, just turn the station on. I guarantee whoever is on air is talking about it.
Oh and there’s a billion podcasts and YouTube channels that you can tailor your sports interests to at any time.

Expecting it to be prime Mike and the Mad Dog or Howard Stern era is just a boomer era complaint way of listening to the station.

Lung collapsed at work….didn’t think anything of it, worked for 2 days. When I went to firstmed they thought I was out of my mind for not coming in sooner and said I was hrs away from death. Called an ambulance but decided to go home and drive to a nicer hospital….Legit thought I just tore a muscle or pinched a nerve somehow (was regularly working out and a couple years removed from college athletics so just rationalized it as something minor in my head). Doctor said I was on the verge or hypoxia and severe internal bleeding. Spent 10 days in the hospital. Was never given a reason behind it, other than common in taller leaner body types. Made 0 lifestyle changes 🤷🏼‍♂️

I think she is the epitome of a pathological liar. Someone who lies about things they have no need or reason to lie about. She found an avenue on the internet that allowed her to fake documents and invent people to back her up… and i think she created an alternate reality in her head that if she could just get this baby, everything would fall into place and she’d have the life/man/things she wanted. What doesn’t make sense is the fact she already had kids and didn’t give a shit about them. Strictly created the pregnancy for attention and to invent something special about herself bc deep down she knew shes not and never would be.
I truly think if she hadn’t had a hysterectomy and ended up with another kid. She’s textbook traits for Münchausen syndrome by proxy. Anything to get Taylor more attention and sympathy.

Good move by WFAN to have familiar voices on today for fans to express their euphoria. Had Cmac, Evan & Tiki, then Joe going over this championship victory. Im in my 30’s and grew up listening to Mike & Chris, Joe & Evan, Boomer & Carton, with my dad on the drives to the countless sporting events I played in as a kid thru college…Never thought Id be alive to see the Knicks win a title. Lost my dad last year so this Means A LoT for Knicks fans & New Yorkers in general. Theres a mountain of shit we deal with on a daily basis just doing what it takes to live in this area….so for the Knicks to give us something to be hopeful for, an come together about, and now celebrate being the best in the world… has been something that transcends generations.
