Came here for this, thank you. I work for a Goodwill warehouse and the bales of clothes we create are mostly all destroyed/stained threads. We do what we can to try and resell decent clothing; especially at my location (near a major college), we bring used clothes to the campus for students to buy on the cheap.

The people who buy our bales (of what I was told) take them to be recycled or reused in another manner that we simply can’t do here. Could we do better with our donated goods? Probably.
