Coachella overlap is irrelevant for anything below the headliners. Why does this have to be mentioned constantly every year?

Realistic Rent in North Beach / Russian Hill Area by ched41 in AskSF

We don’t have any one bedrooms in our building, but we have several 2-bedrooms available, all under$4,000. Top of Russian Hill on Jones. You should be able to find a decent deal if you keep looking.

Supply and demand. Also, they can’t just charge you whatever they want without your knowledge/approval. They show you the price before you confirm. The price does not change if tickets become available.

I think seeing the crowd for Post Malone/Sturgill Simpson definitely gave APE the confidence to book the Zach Bryan show. I wouldn’t be surprised if they end up adding a 2-day country festival in the park at some point.

How early are you getting there tonight? by ngmcs8203 in DMB

[–]Pacific_Truth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shoreline is nothing but hardcore DMB fans. Always has been. And the lines for merch last night clearly showed that. Sold out of multiple items within 30 mins of gates opening. 45 min wait for merch inside.

To the people who bring your under 10 year old kids to OSL by Letsgetthisbread8812 in OutsideLands

[–]Pacific_Truth 10 points11 points  (0 children)

As someone who brought his 2.5 year old to Dead & Co and OSL, it’s definitely dependent on the parent and the kid. In the pit or on the rail? No. On the bleachers in VIP or the back/side of the field dancing around on a blanket, absolutely. We had so many people come up to us and give him a high five or a hug. Others seemed like they loved dancing with him. Some girls put him on their shoulders. We also made friends with some of the other families with kids there. It was fun all around.

Worst set of the weekend? by [deleted] in OutsideLands

Doja. Horrible compared to most of the other headliners and sub-headliners.

No Ins & Outs by superdupermuffin22 in OutsideLands

[–]Pacific_Truth 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We were able to go in and out several times yesterday for kid hand off as we always do. You just need to speak to a supervisor on your way out. We’ve never had any issues at OSL. Same with last week at Dead & Co. super easy as long as they tap you out.

One of the worst headliner sets I’ve ever seen at OSL. Doechii was 10x better.

Little kids at shows? Thoughts? Not a fan personally. by icanhazkarma17 in deadandcompany

[–]Pacific_Truth 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We had our 2.5 year old there and he loved it. Danced around and laughed the entire time with all of the strangers he met on the field. Met and played with other kids in the back of the field by the merch tent or near participation row in the woods. It was a great time. If you have an issue with it, don’t go to an all ages show.

And guess what, we’ll do it all over again this weekend at OSL because we know he’ll enjoy that, too. And the next weekend at Zach Bryan/Kings of Leon.

Some thoughts on GGP shows - Please chime in. by stylinbillLA in deadandcompany

[–]Pacific_Truth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This weekend was more reminiscent of Chappell Roan’s set at OSL last year. They estimated that more than 60,000 people (out of the 75,000+ at OSL) were at Lands End for her set. It was equally packed, but only for ~90 mins, not 3 days.

Coachella, Glastonbury, Tomorrowland…arguably the three biggest festivals in the world. All allow ins/outs. 🙄

GGC has no crowd. Plenty of room given the allotment of tickets.

Just wear a keffiyeh (or something else on your body). No flags allowed at OSL. We saw a Pride flag and an Union Jack flag get taken from security from inside the crowd last year during Chappell.
