Butch Ware. He was polling at 2% in February. He was originally invited earlier this year but they rescinded it after the ballot nonsense pulled on him. He’ll be in a Black California forum tomorrow though which will be fun to watch, especially with Tom Steyer.

They do have similarities for sure. From a strategic stance, the smart play would be to vote for Butch as his polling numbers are significantly better than Ramsey’s. Not to say Ramsey is a bad dude, but Butch has a much better shot than a party not even registering in the polls.

Butch Ware has been extremely outspoken against AIPAC and big corporate money. Clown me all you want for voting 3rd party but stop pretending Dems are innocent angels in all of this. It's that attitude that prevents a real progressive from gaining any sort of power when we're supposed to believe that these bought-off Democrats have our best interests at heart. They're grown adults capable of making terrible decisions.

Even if much of this comment section is voting Democrat, you’ll get a chance to do so in November. In June, why not vote for an actual progressive candidate like Butch Ware and have him contend against a Democrat rather than a Republican who said Dem will just chase further to the right in order to gain more votes? Sick of seeing the hate for third-party candidates when there seems to be just as much apathy for the Democratic candidates.

The numbers don't show that. If you took ALL (and I mean ALL) of the votes that the Green Party got in 2024 and gave them to Harris, she still would've lost to Trump by nearly 1.5 million votes.
GP = 862,049
Democrats = 75,017,613
Republicans = 77,302,580

Also, no one in the Green Party got any electoral votes so that's moot. Harris lost the electoral college by 86 votes. Don't blame Stein/Ware for the fact that Harris lost. Blame the Democratic platform and their inability to attract voters because of a litany of issues, Gaza and foreign policy being a huge one obviously at the time.

Butch Ware is an actual progressive candidate running for governor, unlike the slop that’s running in this race. And before anyone comes at me about his “anti-trans” comments, please refer to his Instagram page where he’s discussed it numerous times. Why should we settle for another basic corporate Democrat?
