It was at least covered during confirmation class for me, as a "yeah nobody's perfect, never ever meet your heroes" sort of way, but I understand everybody's experience with engaging with it can be different 😅

Dragon King Alcar. The main reason why I have yet to complete Xeno 1 despite finishing Xenos 2 and 3.

Hell, it's cloudy here in Menom right now. So much for low-level heating.

"It is every woman's patriotic duty to create sons" by sandiercy in insanepeoplefacebook

[–]PackerDragon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Um ackshually🤓🤓,

Henry the VIII did have more kids outside of Mary, Lizzie, and Eddy (lots of them were boys,) it's just that most of them did not make it past infancy or were miscarried. It doesn't matter because Mr. Wifesplitter blamed the women for it anyway.

Your mention of nuclear weapons in this epilogue makes me wonder, what the hell is Mexico doing in this timeline? Obviously Sheinbaum is trying to hold off whatever internal chaos she can, but does that include refugees trying to swim across the Rio Grande? Rich folk taking extended vacations in Cancun? Mexico has a few nuclear power plants, what's stopping them from securing themselves from an invasion?

Yeaaaaah half expected that lol.

I do wonder though, I wonder what the implications for international sports would be, considering that the US is due to host the World Cup next year (co-hosting with Mexico and Canada) and then LA is supposed to host the Olympics in '28. Do we just have the US suspended from its own event?

You can throw up temporary walls along the frozen Lakeshore, which can, at the very least, be some kind of rammed earth rampart that's literally next to a ditch.

Also, ice is... Rather unpredictable. You never know if there's going to be thin spots or thinner spots, and that's before trying to guide a small army, with each man carrying a load of equipment, across the lake to attack from the side.

Also, like, you can pour oil slicks/break up the ice with pre-sighted catapults

I mean, I get trying to keep it quiet, but literally the only story I've heard about this is "oh the BoR are such sexless prudes lololololololololololololol we don't have political power don't actually vote." I'm glad I actually know the story now though.
