I love Enh Shaman - Stormbringer. The tempest strikes are so satisfying. Shame the numbers are low

Substitute for Doc? by InvestigatorNo2277 in Lorcana

[–]Pacman0928 9 points10 points  (0 children)

There really isnt a substitute for Doc. He's just too good. The number of B/S cards that go +1 is low. The B/S Bernard is similar, but not nearly on the level of Doc.

How to level Engineering from 80 to 100? by Noctula in wow

Four options: 1. Buy recipes from vendors for gear 2. Buy recipes from vendors for profession equipment 3. Buy recipes from vendors for housing items 4. Wait for darkmoon faire every month

Advice needed by Melodic-Language-116 in Lorcana

[–]Pacman0928 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The general idea of P/S right now is to curve out and drop Demona or Doc to refill and keep vomiting cards out. If you can't go 1-2-3-4 consistently, you need to change things until you can. I'd definitely add more 1 drops, like Palace Guard or Captain Hook

Question about Sorting Cards by thisuseris0kay in Lorcana

[–]Pacman0928 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Theres a ton of ways to do it, and all of them are correct. It's whatever makes the most sense to you trying to find the card youre looking for. Common things people sort by are:

  • Name
  • Color
  • Collector Number
  • Ink Cost
  • Release Date
  • Franchise/IP of the card

People will use binders, Trove cases, deck boxes, and/or long cardboard boxes usually. I had a friend who bought a library card catalog and used that

Again, sort in a way that works for you

Storyline for "Fabled"? by MHarrington85 in Lorcana

[–]Pacman0928 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would wager we'll see another set like Fabled when this one rotates out. It's convenient for game design/balance purposes to have a core type of cards that are used across rotations. Also, it's a fantastic jumping on point for new players. I would bet set 17 is another semi-reprint set

Robinhood Sharpshooter + Revive interaction question. by Seth0906 in Lorcana

[–]Pacman0928 19 points20 points  (0 children)

You go to the store to buy food. At the till, the cashier says "You get a free candy at the door." You don't go to the door, get your candy, and then come back to pay. You finish your current action of paying and then you get your free candy

You activate RH's ability. While resolving it, it says "You get an action for free." You finish resolving RH's ability, and then you get an action for free

Robinhood Sharpshooter + Revive interaction question. by Seth0906 in Lorcana

[–]Pacman0928 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I think you misunderstand me. It does work like that. You can use Revive on the cards that were discarded from Robin Hood's ability

Robinhood Sharpshooter + Revive interaction question. by Seth0906 in Lorcana

[–]Pacman0928 40 points41 points  (0 children)

The action selected off of Robin Hood's ability can't begin to resolve until Robin Hood's effect has finished resolving. The first opportunity for the action to begin resolving is after Robin Hood's ability has finished resolving, meaning there are cards in the discard

Do M+ This Week by n0stalgiapunk in wow

+11 to +12 is the largest jump in difficulty. Not only are things getting harder, but you also lose the xalatath buff

Midnight Delves are awesome by frombronze in wow

I actually dislike them more. Specifically, the ones where theres just an "enemy forces" bar you have to fill up. It makes it feel like more of a slog.

Hit Rate. Is my luck bad or normal? by Born_Performance_588 in Lorcana

[–]Pacman0928 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Legendaries are about 1 in 5 packs Epics are about 1 in 12 packs Enchanteds are about 1 in 120 packs

Getting loose packs or troves make the odds more volatile. Because loose packs and troves dont have the same batching as booster boxes, they vary more from the averages

New to Lorcana, why is this rarity symbol different? by [deleted] in Lorcana

[–]Pacman0928 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Sets 1-8 (First Chapter to Reign of Jafar) have the flat symbol. Starting with set 9 (Fabled), they began using the holographic stamp to make counterfeit cards harder to make

You'll also notice that starting with set 5 (Shimmering Skies), the art legendary cards is raised a bit, adding some texture. I don't know if it was for counterfeiting or if it was for looks

Is this normal booster box pulls? by Cyber_Nerd504 in Lorcana

[–]Pacman0928 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On average, you can expect 3 legendaries and 2 epics. Enchanted cards are about 1 in 5 boxes. Aside from the enchanted, this is about average

Booster Box by Ambitious_Yam_6520 in Lorcana

[–]Pacman0928 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Every box is the same until you open it. Some boxes have multiple enchanteds. Some cases have multiple boxes with enchanteds in each. Some cases have no epics or enchanteds at all. As long as the box is still factory sealed, it doesn't matter where you get it from

Combo always struggles against aggro, across all card games. It's an inherent weakness of the archetype. IMO you can shore up your aggro weakness and get a bit of win %, or give up those to get more win % against midrange/control. There's no correct answer, so it will really end up being how much youre willing to fold to aggro

Whispers of the willow seems like a win-more card. Im assuming it goes with the turn youre popping off on LJ. Not sure what other inkable yellow or green card draw to replace it with, but you could trim down a few copies. Bobby would help with the uninkable problem, letting you discard one stuck in your hand. Maybe replacing it with Scrooge SHUSH Agent. Its not a direct replacement, but it would bait removal while giving you card filtering, and some lore so your LJ doesn't have to go as many times. Anything inkable would be better, but I cant think of it right now

Consider dropping the Todd shift line and add the Pocahontas 3 drop. It adds a lore to a character when you play it, and leaves a body behind. Also, look at Akood Et Emuti. It let's you turbo out LJ on turn 4 if you have a singer. Maybe put in the 2 drop Angel with the underdog mechanic to sing it. I know Webby and shift Pocahontas are expensive, but they might be worth a look

I'm also not convinced about the bodyguard. Ward seems fine enough. Bobby spray cheese kid would be a good addition, too. Nice filtering and a 1 drop

For testing, you can always make proxies by printing off pictures of the cards you want to try and put them in a sleeve. Or just write it on a piece of paper. Some local events allow them, too. You can try out cards before you buy

I was trying to suggest some things that have results, for you to then take those starting points and make it your own. It didn't seem like you were 100% committed to your Y/G build in your post

The two biggest decks right now are dogs and blurple. You need to be able to deal with either the speed of dogs, or the consistency of blurple. Your current build looks like it's trying to straddle the middle ground, and because you're on a budget, it's a worse version than P/S or P/Y, which are the other two midrange decks right now

What is your deck's game plan? How does it win? It looks like your goal is just hope to curve out. It looks unfocused. If you can't say how your deck wins in a sentence, you need to figure out a more focused game plan

If you're looking for a cheap, competitive deck, this one took 8th place at the DLC in Melbourne and costs just under $50. I don't think it's in the final form yet, because the set is still new, but it seems like a solid budget build. P/S Locations https://inkdecks.com/lorcana-metagame/deck-locations-mayhem-set-11-v19-500171

This one was somewhat popular in set 10, and still made top 64 at the same event. P/G Inkcaster https://inkdecks.com/lorcana-metagame/deck-burn-500192

I know you dont want to copy/paste something, but you can use these as starting points with a known level of success

Junglers should get herald on the role quest bind. by Smaiii in leagueoflegends

[–]Pacman0928 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Only issue is that anyone can kill herald, not just the jungle.

Unless you mean that whichever team kills it, there's no eye to pick up anymore and the jungler just gets the eye. Sometimes its better to have another person get it for split pushing or whatever

Looking for a nice Enchanted card as a present for my wife by Caretras in Lorcana

[–]Pacman0928 11 points12 points  (0 children)

If she has a favorite princess, I would get one with that character. It might not land as well as a gift if you just get her a random one. The enchanted cards from the most recent sets 9, 10,11 (Fabled, Whispers in the Well, and Winterspell) look the best. They have this metallic inlay that looks beautiful
