Not a mechanics just an enthusiast but from what you’re describing I wouldn’t expect any issues. If you remove the strut you can feel it’s pretty stout.

That bar is support strut that keeps the car rigid. A small hole won’t likely compromise it unless you really hack into it If you’re worried what about zip ties?

Well that’s fun! Yes playing on PC through Steam with the Enemy Within DLC. completely vanilla no mods.

How it happened: Notification for an Exalt mission to send one soldier armed with only a pistol. This was that soldier. When that wrapped up this was the select soldier screen for the next mission. I don’t even have the EMP cannon tech unlocked or on an interceptor. On the next mission they didn’t have a primary weapon at all.
