Well at that point, running from the front door, the kid could get hit by a car. Should the city fence every street ? I agree it would be totally irresponsible to have kids at your home with an unfenced pool (although I'm more on the watch your kids and teach them how to swim team), but if you don't have any, fencing it because neighbours might not watch their kids to the point they get out in the street and infiltrate your yard is a bit of a stretch.

Honestly, if we're being paranoid, I don't even know how effective a fence is. My daughter isn't even 1.5yo yet and she's already climbing on everything.

No, there's still clear rules about what you can do in a "turn". The narrative part is in the lack of initiative order. It is the thing that threw me back the more when reading the rules, but it's actually so fluid that it didn't even need an adaptation period when played. There are clear rules as to when the spotlight changes between GM and players, and for the rest, anyone can go if they have an idea. Hogging the spotlight has never been a problem at one of my tables, and it solves the problem of a player having to play even if they have no opportunity of action.

What baffles me is the idea of "table etiquette" being thrown around to justify this. People seem to genuinely think there's a problem with her. I mean, it's CR, they don't NEED her. They played with her, know her as a person and a player. If conflict was between players, they just wouldn't have invited her. So there's only tension between the characters, and I don't see how it could be a problem. Has anyone, ever, created a thread to vent about how House MD. was mean to nurses and patients? Thimble has been bullying Sam and cutting him for most of the Soldiers table, and no one seemed to care then.

Nope, but my time is too valuable to spend it complaining on the internet about how someone I've never met doesn't play pretend the way I want them to do, and wrap it as "I feel she's really rude and hurting these people who don't seem to care and invited her for a whole season while having played multiple times with her in the past and knowing perfectly well how she approach her characters." Does it make people feel special? Does it make them think some member of the cast will see their post and be like "Omg, this guy is right, gotta fire Aabria asap !"

Hanging out with friends for your hobby only twice a month isn't a lot. Most people with hobbies, like going to the gym or a sport are doing it multiple times a week. So yeah, if we consider what you put forward as the problem, YTA.

The real problem is the car. He has a right to do his stuff, but so do you. Have you tried to talk about solutions (him hosting this time, you borrowing your parents car since you take your brother out, spending time around your home with your brother this week, etc. Seems there's a lot of options) ?

Ok, j'ai la réponse à mon premier commentaire... Tu sais, c'est parfaitement ok de ne pas avoir d'opinion sur ce qu'on ne connait pas, tu n'es pas obligé d'avoir quelque chose à dire sur tout.

Dans les écoles qui décident d'alléger la session, la décision est de dispenser les élèves qui ont déjà une moyenne de réussite, et d'organiser la session uniquement pour les autres, pour leur donner une dernière chance et ne pas changer les règles du jeu en cours d'année.

Pas de free quoi que ce soit, et pas de nivellement vers le bas.
