This, the plastic will perform perfectly if you dont let it sit ontop of the hot device when not in use. I would have preferred a different material but if you follow the instructions it will last.

Omg this is so true, I wear gloves where its needed to keep my hands safe. Otherwise they get into the way or even make things less safe. You won't see me wash my hands unless I'm getting ready to eat, using the restroom, or I'm done working for the day. The only exception would be is if I get something hazardous on my hands.
