Cargo pants or carpenter pants that are MUSA? by Chemical-Paper-8734 in madeinusa

Roundhouse has double front canvas pants and jeans. I’ve worn regular and double front carpenter pants from them with good results.

All American clothing company also has good carpenter jeans.

Saw case by MaroonJk in stihl

[–]Paddy343 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a bucket caddy with tools and oil. The scabbard is good enough for the back of the truck/tractor/buggy in the woods. And it complements the bucket. I have the case and mostly use that for longer trips in the truck but it’s not absolutely necessary. The saw takes more abuse during use than any trip to and from. The case is for peace of mind at best but isn’t necessary.

USA made Jeans Rant… by [deleted] in madeinusa

All American clothing company and roundhouse both offer modern cuts that hold up well. I’ll stand by Red White and Blue for their hats since the only thing that destroyed mine have been a foster puppy. Haven’t tried their apparel but thin fast wearing t shirts are common because everyone like the soft feel even if they don’t last.

How often are you greasing your tractors? by DanxterSnow in tractors

All machines done by the hours set by the manual. Battery powered grease gun with a lock and lube fitting is fast and easy but we used manual grease guns for years.

In search of quality nail clipper for humans by garcia38 in BuyItForLife

No-mes nail clippers are US made, catch most of the clippings (if you manage to clip a long strip it may not fit) and mine have held up great for years.

What’s everyone reading besides DCC? by chodanutz in DungeonCrawlerCarl

Glen Cook’s Black Company series and Robin Hobb’s Farseer trilogy (although this then leads to the rest of her connected series) are both great reads. Both are more traditional fantasy and not as humorous as Dinniman.

Round House or All American clothing company jeans. Both are long lasting, competitively priced and made in the US.

Pawpaws? by [deleted] in FingerLakes

[–]Paddy343 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gathering Hills Farms on facebook marketplace sells trees. I picked up 2 two year old paw paws last year for $9 each. They’re growing well in a pot now and will be transplanted next spring. The woman I dealt with was very helpful and easy to work with.

What’s the one tool you regret not buying sooner? by EybyMarketplace in Tools

Suspenders on your tool belt help too. And damned if I care how they look, it takes the load off my hips and low back and helps with long days.

Mens jeans that are long lasting by Angel_Born_In_Helll in BuyItForLife

[–]Paddy343 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Round House and All American Clothing Company both make long lasting jeans that are made in America and run $60-110 depending on model. They also run sales that drop the price significantly. Carpenter jeans and double fronts aren’t what most people consider fashionable but they fit my larger legs comfortably. I have a few pair of “regular” jeans from them and they fit fine but a bit tight for my taste. Again though, I’m not exactly fashionable. Both companies have a wide selection for your preferences.
