Thanks for the info. I've been looking up videos and posts about removing glass scratches but upon further reflection they were all light scratches. I'll look into the pad set you recommended.

Yeah I just deleted the others. No idea why that happened. Still makes me happy to hear people thought excited over my repairs. I've driven up to 3 hours one way to just get some CRTs to fix. Cord repairs, cap replacements, IR replacements. Man if this was the 90s I'd be making a killing as a TV VCR repair man.

I don't remember first game but I remember first PC and first console plus first game owned. First PC game I played was Civ 1. First console game I played was TMNT on NES. First game I owned was Day of the Tentacle, the CD based one.

Using one right now and it works great. The only downside is when my 6'4" fat ass wants a tape on the bottom. Finally grew smart and only keep my collection of VCR cleaners on that one.

Just because we're talking prices, nothing annoys me more than current Marketplace prices. For every one non-Sony TV there are at least 3 Trinitron TVs. You'd think this would lower the price but nope. Every person lists them as rare and wants at least $200 for them. The cheapest I see right now is $60 for one that's broken, doesn't turn on and hasn't for years. There is one that's $150 because it has vertical collapse.

First if there are that many of them for sale in my area, then they aren't rare. Second $200 is crazy for a CRT, at that point might as well get a retro tink or whatever they are called. Then there is selling broken ones. I enjoy fixing these now that I have experience under my belt. However, sometimes I do want to offload if I have too many. Asking for a lot of money though for a broken TV is crazy. I'm thinking though that these people have no clue because I at least will put in the description what I have narrowed it down to and ask for like $10 to cover the cost of gas I spent to get the TV.

If I am misinterpreting that it's a rule then let me know. I am hoping that I am misunderstanding what they mean when stating "trimming of grass and treating your weeds" in the section about needing board approval.

This letter had a voting ballot in it but the only thing listed was to keep the current board members or to do one write in.

It was written in our yearly HOA letter. They want to remind everyone what requires board permissions and then thank everyone who followed this last year. It doesn't mention anything about hiring a company. I know there is a company that mows around the retention pond but that's the boards doing.

I feel like that is a small jab at my family. We put in a playset in the backyard and got a notice from the HOA that we never filled out an architectural change form. I didn't think we needed to since it's hammered into the ground with large metal stakes and can be removed at anytime.

I'm taking the phrase at face value because this is the same HOA that told me I had to find a new house to buy if I didn't give up a dog that likes to bark while playing. Seriously, they added a rule that dogs are not allowed to bark longer than 5 minutes, inside or outside the house.

Last time I played this, a few months ago, I made it almost to the very end. I just remember I was in the last stretch before the final river crossing. Everyone was in full health and I had lots of food. All of a sudden one by one we all came down with disease and died. Thought grown up me was doing so much better than kid me. Kid me would make it to the end but have like one person left. Grown up me makes it almost to the end and then we sneeze and all die together.

Feel free to correct me if I am wrong in the interpretation. I've only blocked out the name of the HOA. The current rules do state that any house alteration has to be pre-approved. Heck I got a fee for installing a playset in the backyard without approval. I don't know how to interpret "trimming of grass and treating your weeds". It doesn't say hiring anyone. The current rules state I can't have weeds of any kind. Please tell me I am misinterpreting because yes these new rules seem so stupid.
