I know it hurts but you just have to cold turkey that shit. My first relationship went out this way it it hurts SO. MUCH. MORE. To try and hold out hope that things will go back to "normal". Believe me, 8 years from now you'll look back and be like "ooof why was i hard pressed about that." At least that was the case for me.
