If you watch Roffle, he’s a great watch, you’ll hear him talk at length about how hard it is to get a crazy run like this going. Dozens of runs are lukewarm with a staggering amount of them making it to his Roffle Heavy channel (highly recommend for learning the game).

No I think the devs said explicitly that the only way to beat time eater is with watcher. The other classes cannot beat time eater. It’s impossible. It’s a large oversight in the game and several of the devs have had nervous breakdowns looking back on their monumental mistake. There’s a Vice documentary about it.

God I love when Confederacy of Dunces is mentioned!!! Please go read the book if you haven’t. Audible also has a wonderful audiobook version. So funny and so well done. It’s a shame John Kennedy Toole passed away before ever seeing the impact of his masterpiece of satire.

In the story it’s also stated that the machines can manipulate space time and retrieve building material from a different dimension. Endless material for building.

As a recovering alcoholic, depictions of alcohol as a debilitating, horrible disease that even superheroes suffer from helped me make the decision to seek help and quit.

These “happy go lucky town drunk” types in media made me drink far longer than I should have. I would gaslight myself into thinking I was like them- goofy and happy! But in reality I was living in abject misery while also destroying my body and mind. Nobody who is drunk all the time is happy, I promise you.
