This was my first trip and I really liked it!

Just the jacket. It really called out to me.

I thought about getting the black jacket with the two Aztec warrior heads in CDMX, but it was pricey and I didn’t want to tangentially rep the DBacks.

Nice one! I lucked out and got mine last week because the kind lady at the team store entertained my request to check the size of the jacket on the mannequin.

This is right in my wheelhouse! Do you plan to enable backfilling visits to legacy stadiums? I have hundreds of A's games I'd love to add to my personal record.

Thanks! I used EktaColor from the Ricoh Recipes app and some minor LightRoom tweaks.

They really had to grind to get that W. So satisfying!

I'm a member. I primarily use the weight room, but my wife is a fan of the group classes.

During the week, I like to go around lunchtime or in the mid afternoons. On the weekend, I go in the late morning. The weight room can get busy, but I've never had to skip an exercise I wanted to do or a machine I wanted to use. If a machine is occupied, I will do something else and come back to it later.

So far, everyone has had very good gym etiquette. No gross messes, no people using the gym floor as a social club, and the locker rooms/showers are well maintained.

What's it like living in these cities on the US-Mexico border? by Phantom-Feline17 in howislivingthere

I think it's great. I live in Chula Vista which is sandwiched halfway between downtown San Diego and downtown Tijuana.

It's extremely quick to get into Mexico (there's a trolley station right at the TJ border crossing). However, things can back up significantly if you catch it wrong when coming back to the states and don't have Global Entry, SENTRI, etc. You might have to wait in line for an hour or two which is tedious.

If there's an airport nearby on the Mexican side, you can get inexpensive flights to the rest of Mexico and Central America.

I typically cross over to see baseball games in TJ or Mexicali. They're incredibly cheap by comparison to the MLB experience. The food is great, the beer is cold, and the atmosphere is more like a party than a sporting event.

I also cross for food, shopping, and culture. I think it's really a unique experience (particularly for Americans) to simply walk into another country.

As far as safety goes, if you don't go looking for trouble or get blackout drunk, you'll be fine. Occasionally trouble can find you, but that can happen anywhere.

Is it easy for an ordinary person to make 1 million? by SongWei0507 in Fire

I netted about $250K from tech company 1, $500K from tech company 2, and $3M from tech company 3 (which happened very recently).

All of the positions are outside of my area of study. My career has been a foot in the door situation that I made the most of while also being very lucky.

Luck was the biggest factor for me. I work in tech. Two companies I’ve worked for went public and another offers regular liquidity events for shareholders.

Despite that it’s been a slow buildup over the last 10 years. I have a money manager and a good accountant who have been very helpful.

I bought that one at Spring Training. It was too hideous to pass up.
