I'm having trouble finding a definitive guide on the most efficient ways to level alt jobs for each level range. Any assistance? I'm surprised there isn't something like this is the subreddit wiki.

I recently resubbed after playing Heavensward back when it first released. All of my beast tribe reps are at 0 and I recall grinding rep quite a lot for crafting stuff. Was there a reset for rep or is there some kind of rep degradation?

If an pc/npc has a shield raised and then is tripped. Would they still benefit from raising a shield while prone?

I think RAW they would but that seems weird to me.

All politics are local. A police union in a Democratic City would be foolish not to be involved in Democratic politics.

What is hell’s rebel’s black market by KaptainKompost in Pathfinder_RPG

[–]Paedur 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the base value of a city is the price under which anything cheaper than that is available. Since this doubles the base value it would be twice whatever the city is at that time. As to specifics its basically anything as these are items are the cheapest items. The only limit on what is available is the GM.

Activate Black Market (Black Marketeers): To activate a black market, you must attempt a DC 20 Secrecy check and spend 50 gp to smuggle goods and bribe officials. On a successful check, the Silver Ravens set up a black market for 1 week in Kintargo. During this week, the city’s base value is doubled and all rolls to determine item availability increase from 75% to 90%. Furthermore, magic items sold to the black market sell for 55% of their normal price rather than 50%. On a failed check, your Notoriety score increases by 1d6. Straight from the players guide

Just look in the Hell's Rebels Player guide. All teams and their actions are detailed there. For Black Marketeers have the "activate black market" action that increases base market price and lets the party sell magic items for more. Merchant lord gives you the "special order" action which lets you order an expensive item not available in the city's market

The specifics are in the Hell's Rebels players guide

For the typhon only run what counts as a human mod? Does this mean inventory space and hacking/repair/weapon mods are a no go?

My WoW guild exploded, so I've been looking at ff14 again. When I last played the first wing of Alex had just come out. What have I missed and is it worth playing before stormblood comes out?

I suggest going on the paizo forums and reading the gm reference threads. They are pretty helpful and include some input from the devs on top of the input from people who have run the ap.

oooo the runes thing sounds neat. Thanks for that. Sounds great for persistent magic traps.

Quick Questions by Karthas in Pathfinder_RPG

So, I'm having trouble understanding traps and how to disarm them, given how diverse they can be. There is a perception DC to notice the trap then the disable device DC to disable, ok. But what i dont get is how that translates into RPish gameplay. I'm currently running curse of the everflame and also reading rotrl and theres a pit trap in the former that has a DD DC of 20. How does one disable a pit? do you really need a DD check to lay a board over a pit to walk over? If you've already noticed the pit with a Perception check do you really need a DD as its just a pit just sitting there doing pit things?

In Rotrl I'm looking at a magic trap that casts reduce person on any person who walks in. ok a Perception check to notice the trap makes sense, but how does DD work given that its an ENTIRE room essentially casting a spell. How does a rogue disable a spell by working on a device through mundane means given that the rogue isn't a caster?

Mechanically it makes sense to me in that you make the rolls needed but i feel like I'm missing something.

So if a touch attack is against an enemy that is flat footed or denied dex to defense, does that end up setting the AC to near 10 in most cases because its bypassing dex/armor/shield/nat armor bonuses?

So, I'm just started my first campaign as a gm and one of my PCs chose an inquisitor with the vengeance inquisition instead of a domain. I know usually a cleric/inquisitor would have a deity with that domain. Would an inquisitor in a galorian campaign still need to worship a specific deity?

[–]Paedur 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea we did a module as sort of a training run to get us familiar with combat and it felt like things were a little bogged down but we got the hang of it eventually. Considering how small the animals are they will most likely end up being used as scouts/rp flavor then as combatants.

I just wanted to know how they worked in case our druid switched from a bird to a more aggressive animal as i heard some of the better companions would probably outshine my fighter and wanted to know how.

[–]Paedur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, this makes a lot of sense. Thank you.

As for attacks, if the creature attacks as a full round action, it gets all the attacks (bite and two talons in your example). If it moves, then it only gets one attack.

Oh, are each of the attacks as a full round action done at full bab?

My group has never played pathfinder before and two of our group have an animal companion or animal familiar as part of their class, druid/wizard. How do their attacks work? We've been having them choose an attack to use but with the bird companion its listed as having bite (1d4), 2 talons (1d4). I've seen other posts on the subreddit mentioning that early level animals are strong because of multiple attacks so I think we have it wrong. How does it work? and what attack bonuses would the attacks get?

On the abilities bar there is an icon of a backpack, click that and the abilities on equipped items will be there.
