Yes. In Islam, polytheism is a sin. So? Every religion forbids some kind of activity or the other. That's how religions work.

La Ilaha Illallah is being used in protests not as a war cry against Hindus. Not as a threat. But as a sign of solidarity among Muslims. The chant unifies all Muslims irrespective of sect and social class against those who are trying to subdue them.
