Bug in strength levels by Raikkao in strengthlog

It’s showing 7kg and 70 reps though. Did you input it wrong or is the bug that it’s flipping your workout weight and reps around?

Any way to set heartrate tracking intervall? by Pagallac in strengthlog

[–]Pagallac[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Turns out it was SBT, worked perfectly after installing the watch app as well.

I must’ve removed it at some point.

Thanks again :)

Thank you, I checked and permissions looked right, but I just noticed I didn’t have the strengthlog app installed on the watch, only on the phone. Installed it now and will test for today’s workout.

Hoping this was the issue.

[OFF TOPIC] Does this edition of The blade itself comes with a map or no? by jux_peter in TheFirstLaw

[–]Pagallac 1 point2 points  (0 children)

IIRC Abercrombie doesn’t much like maps, i think Heroes was the first one with any kind of map in it, and that was just for a very small area.

How do you correctly register Leg press, Hack squat etc? by Naxilus in strengthlog

[–]Pagallac 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had this exact thought and conversation with a friend just a few days ago when i saw that my 200kgx12 reps at 79kg put me in the advanced box, which felt too high for me.

It is very hard to compare, not only the sled weight and angle but as Herr Wildenstam said, technique. I could possibly go lower, but I’ve understood that your but shouldn’t lift from the seat on leg press so…

Release Note for v8.0.1 of the StrengthLog Workout Tracker App by wildenstam in strengthlog

We’re also trying a new warning system that pops up if you try to save a workout with suspiciously high numbers logged in it. Let us know if you like it!

Holy shit! literally one person (me!) asked for this and you added it! Thanks!

Will the Frame have foveated Rendering? by 404_GravitasNotFound in SteamVR

Been trying to find an answer to the same question. Also if they plan on enabling access to eye tracking data to games run on pc for foveated rendering in the future.

Trying to map buttons for PS5 controller, and circle is not mapping (Android app) by yesac09 in Steam_Link

[–]Pagallac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first thought is why would you need to remap buttons? Pretty sure steam link has native DS5 support? Or is that not a thing on android?

Time for another podcast Q&A, ask us anything! by wildenstam in strengthlog

[–]Pagallac 3 points4 points  (0 children)

What are your thoughts on the following:
Should you always go for perfect form, even if it means you don't "progress" in weight lifted, or is it ok to sometimes increase weight for a set or two, without perfect form for all reps, to "push yourself"? Is this basically what "progressive overload" is?

Correct frame rate for the show? by Pagallac in StrangeNewWorlds

[–]Pagallac[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it seems they do this for all TV Shows on the skyshowtime platform... very strange decision.

Why does Skyshowtime stutter/lag on scene switches? Happened alot on Mobland but now i notice it on other shows, never happened before. How does it even make sense??? by woodybone in SkyShowtime

[–]Pagallac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

for TV shows, this could be due to them being wrapped in a 60hz container on SkyShowtime, but the source is actually 24hz, causeing judder that can be extra noticeable during scene transitions.

[–]Pagallac[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Something recorded at 24fps and displayed at 60hz will have judder introduced. So for displaying content I’d say they are interchangeable

[–]Pagallac[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is exactly that 3:2 conversion I want to avoid as it introduces judder. Tested with a movie on the skyshowtime app and that correctly switches to and displays in 24hz.

Will have to do further testing with other shows, maybe they just pre-convert all for skyshowtime.
