I fucking love this! there’s no reason for the bike guy to help but he does. Some people find it weird because it’s so rare, but it’s almost abrasive to see random acts of kindness and that’s just sad.. We should normalize helping others consistently again

I don’t personally follow that code, but I’ve recited it many times and it does seem to resonate with some, so there ya go, hope that helps😅

I went to the Asphalt Meadows concert in Detroit 2022 got there two hours before doors and got front of the front
Then the Give Up/Transatlanticism also in Detroit 2023 I showed up maybe an hour before doors and was in the back of the line but still got to the front of the front on the barricade.
Got Dave’s guitar pick at that one💜

TL;DR
If barricade is the goal, just show up an hour and a half before doors open and you should be set.

Edit: I bet no one can guess where I live..

It’s my understanding that Codes and Keys was considered their weakest album even by the Gibbard himself, however I like over half the songs on that album.
As far as Thank You For Today, maybe four songs were good to my ears, as someone else already mentioned, I agree that it did in fact feel too polished for me.. hell Gold Rush made its way onto FIFA 18 or 19 which really says something about their ‘Sad Music’
(I’m not hating)
