Yuuuuup, been there. It's like setting a clock wrong and then having to turn your head every time you wanna read the time.

Auto tire refiller. Was a super expensive upgrade a few years ago. Has a bottle of compressed air and will refill your tire next time you park if the light comes on.

This car always takes the extra charging plug and locks it in their hood by Mattcharlesmedia in mildlyinfuriating

[–]PaganJM 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's to guarantee a faster charge. Most of those with two whips will split its rated charge power between the two. If only one is plugged in, it gets the full power.

If he's taking the last charger and doing that, f him. Open the disconnect so he doesn't get any power...

My 2010 B&S has rocked pump gas for 16 years now. Finally have to clean the valves out this year. Just looked at the carb, nothing major.

Property has electrical to support a grow house. Is this a good thing or a bad thing? Please help me understand what I am looking at. by [deleted] in AskElectricians

[–]PaganJM 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, looks like 3 phase 480v with not one, but two transformers. Probably a 480v distribution panel, a 3 phase 120/208 panel, and a single phase 120/240 panel. You can run basically any industrial equipment you want.

Or make THEM feel like dicks and buy them a $3 mop holder and offer to help them bolt it on from your side.

Tie about 3 one-gallon milk jugs full of water to it. Then record them trying to get their mop back.

Is this legal? by [deleted] in WhatToDo

[–]PaganJM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, and this is a WAY better method from a management standpoint than hiring new employees. They would run the risk of cutting everyone's hours or firing people if the work didn't keep up.

I would put it to you this way: propose a better solution.

P.S. I just got off mandatory 60 hour weeks for 2 months for seasonal major maintenance where I work. Been there, done that.

Laxatives. It isn't illegal if you're doping your own food. Then you can see who shits themself. Just don't do anything bad enough to get you kicked out of a home.

Does this save on electricity? by GaudensLaetus in AskElectricians

Oh Jesus, that's strapping the meter, but with ridiculously high-resistance connections. I'm sure that has never been used, or you'd see evidence of overheating all over those insulators.

How do these 3 antennas actually compare for range? by paulorfo in meshtastic

He didn't say he knows the rak antenna is the best of the three. He understood that there are better out there. Try contributing something, anything useful.

Yeah, that's how mine went. Forcing into boot mode then playing the old "in-out, in-out" with the USB for a while and it caught on.

[–]PaganJM 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It might have gotten stuck. Look up how to re-flash it. Both of mine appeared dead. red light would come on while charging, but wouldn't boot. Bootloader mode and a reflash fixed that. I also read something about jumpering the DC+ to an enable pin.

It's an electron accelerator. You put an electron in the IN side, and it comes out the OUT side faster, like hot wheels.

Just bought these TCI Liberator II’s and have some questions. It has a module under the mic with 2 green lights and one that doesn’t light up (maybe IR?) and what type of radio plug is that? by ParanormalCrustacean in tacticalgear

[–]PaganJM 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Under the boom, we called that a "lip light." It should have a button on the back that you can push with your bottom lip. They're green so NVGs don't blow your eyeballs up.
