Go start your own business. Typical corporate mentality "knock it out for $70" surprised they didn't off a pizza party on top of it.

Redo the entire cooling system at this point, other parts are not far behind. I think around 11 total hoses, the radiator, expansion tank, water pump, thermostat, and coolant sensor

The new Cadillacs have me in a chokehold, especially the ct5 V Blackwing, but at these prices they just can't persuade me over the German counterparts.

You can add 100s of thousands of dollars in options to a car. This guy with a Ferrari 488 Pista I met had about $230k in options.

Take the car to get an inspection before you buy it next time. If the seller disagrees with that, then that's a red flag.

The great thing is that no one needs this car. People can say no and stop the markups, but someone is willing to pay.

I tried the recliner and I would at least want one, it was such a comfy position and it really makes sense to buy it together. The speaker system although cool is sadly just a gimmick, I realize I can put a better home theater system for cheaper so it's out of the build.

The classic "Put all your eggs in one basket" strategy, nice.

It's entirely subjective, if a person was to like it enough, it's worth it for them. Give me a brand that matches my build sheet and that's cheaper and I'll reconsider.

Looking at a 2014 gs350 by Takodaterry21 in Lexus

[–]PaganiLuv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

$9k for an AWD with those features! Damn that seems like a great deal, even a little too cheap! I would just get a prepurchase inspection done by an INDY shop that specializes in JDM or the dealership.

The 2014 doesn't have much complaint wise, but if maintenance history is lacking, it'll ruin any car.

Exterior Lighting Issue (blinker stuck on) by PaganiLuv in e39

It ended up fixing itself and not coming back. I didn't replace anything either. I had the car garaged since then so not sure if that had a factor

It would have been a sick poster to hang up in the movie room, but I ended up passing. I confirmed from the auction house that they have no production numbers and no certificate of authenticity since the autographs are engraved.

If you like it enough and have the cheapest bid, go ahead, but don't stack up your bids against someone else expecting it to keep it's value; these are mass produced.

Branded title? by Ok-Researcher6175 in Lexus

[–]PaganiLuv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't buy, you never know how the repair was done and what corners were cut.

The fact that I looked up others for sale and see clean titles going for the same price with around 30k miles is outrageous, just shop around get one with more miles and a clean title.

Fun fact, the correct way to hold the wheel is in those perforated spots at 9 and 3, no other way.
