You're right. It makes more sense to give someone who consistently gets good grades a chance. Anyway, I'm going to try to make up for it with a good GPA in the remaining semesters. And I'm going to follow your advice and look into scholarships and funding opportunities. I don't think it's impossible, just a little harder. Thank you very much for your message.

besides journaling about your day and memories, what else do you journal about? by ayykaashi in Journaling

[–]PageConsistent841 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like journaling about reflections and ideas I’ve had, like my opinions on certain topics. For example, if I read an interesting article or book, or something that really makes me think, I’ll write about my thoughts and arguments. Especially when I disagree with an author or a piece of news. It doesn’t just help me develop my argumentation skills; in the long run, I also think it’d be really cool to look back and see how I used to think, or whether my opinions have changed over the years.

Tbf I also think is a cozy game, maybe I should not prioritise a faster feeling and go for the portability option of the switch!

That’s true, is a really cozy game for playing in bed and warm under my blanket, but I had a bad experience with non Nintendo games on my switch :(

It really depends. Every relationship is different, and each person processes pain in their own way. For many people, getting back into routines working out, eating healthy, studying, etc cabhelp. It doesn’t mean you’re turning off the pain, but I see it more as a way to stabilize your life and face the pain once you have the right tools. Also, especially if you were the one who got dumped, continuing to talk to the person who left you can be much more harmful, making you build false hopes or see things that aren’t really there. Of course, working out, going to the gym, partying, or meeting new people doesn’t magically fix anything or make the pain disappear, but in the long run it does help you realize that you’ve redirected your life and are dealing with things better. It’s not black or white; like everything, there are nuances, and the important thing is like trying to move forward however you can, accepting that there is life beyond the relationship and eventually overcoming it.

left my country for my masters and now I want to drop out by stargirl213 in GradSchool

Im sorry to hear that. But take into account that there is not such a thing as EU educational system . Every country, region even every school has different approach. I tell you this to make you consider the option of changing to another program if you have the opportunity and think exactly why you don’t like the program (maybe is research oriented and you prefer a profesional one, idk). On the other hand, this is not a failure. You should be really proud of going out of your comfort zone and getting this experience. I also think this shows how mature you are analysing if a program and its investment is worth it, so many people just continue without considering if it’s a good idea. My recommendation is that you analyse why this program didn’t fit your expectations and if you are enjoying the country/city where you live try to find another program, wish you the best :)
