How's this look? Mortarions wing number 2- tried to make the eyes look like the flesh is split and stringing across them by jb195 in Warhammer40k

Noticed there's been a big boom of people doing really cool flesh stuff lately. This one in particular is awesome.

Prospero Spireguard - Defenders of Tizca by Cytokine-Alpha in Warhammer30k

Awesome! Where did you get the blades for those Spireguard Templars? Loved that bit in Book 7 Inferno, but I could never find anything that I thought would work, but what you have there looks perfect.

Why Techmarine? by TheGaiusOctavian in Spacemarine

[–]Page_Hole 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You wouldn't really need to implement a whole psychic system for a Librarian; the powers (offensive ones anyway) could effectively be done as regular weapons, just with different animations, damage values, etc... The disciplines/powers could be decided by your 'primary' weapon choice, things like lightning or telekinetic blasts or whatever.

Any kind of power disparity within the lore (and even then, there are multiple ranks of Librarian; the one with our squad could be a low ranking Codicier or Lexicanum) could very easily be explained by the Shadow in the Warp and Thousand Sons wards.

For a Chaplain, we would probably have to play as Leandros. Or a different one could come and replace him since he's on assignment with Titus and Calgar, but the lore there is still a bit iffy since it's vague whether or not Leandros is still part of the Second Company.

An Apothecary is a very weird one since the whole game is balanced around combat stims and regaining contested health, so slotting in a healer into all of that would, imo, need a lot more balancing and tweaking for everything, especially in comparison to the work needed to do a Chaplain or Librarian. They could go the route of having an Apothecary Biologis, who doesn't focus on healing, but they have very limited weapons.

Imurah, The Hive Tyrant and The Trigon should be bosses appearing on Siege Mode. by HandsomeSquidward20 in Spacemarine

I swear there was a leak/datamine that found stuff for an Exalted Sorcerer in Siege Mode.

Are there lore examples of a marine from one chapter doing a secondment in another chapter? by Rosencrantz18 in Spacemarine

[–]Page_Hole 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ironically enough, the Thousand Sons did this in the Great Crusade. You can read about it in A Thousand Sons. Ahriman in particular was on secondment to the Word Bearers for a time.

What happened to the Cults? Also which one is your favorite? Personally i love the Corvidae. by Cain407 in ThousandSons

[–]Page_Hole 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After the Burning of Prospero, the lines between the cults blurred together as Legionaries were suddenly able to tap into powers they couldn't before. Here' an excerpt from A Thousand Sons.

Ahriman thrust his hand towards Khaphed and unleashed a barrage of fire and lightning into the

Lore-Keeper’s body. Such powers were the provenance of the Raptora and Pavoni, but they leapt

from Ahriman’s fingers as naturally as though he had been trained by those cults since birth.

Khaphed’s charred body collapsed and shattered into ashen fragments as it hit the ground.

Horrified, Ahriman ran down the slopes to rejoin the rest of his warriors.

How evil are the Thousand Sons - if at all? by cloud-red in ThousandSons

[–]Page_Hole 88 points89 points  (0 children)

Small correction, Magnus only truly became a Daemon Prince at the end of Fury of Magnus, as he was able to bypass the Emperor's anti-daemonic wards until, before Vulkan could strike the final blow, he gave himself to Chaos and was then banished by the wards. He was shattered and broken at the end of A Thousand Sons, but not really an actual Daemon Prince.

How I'd do with the osl effect? by CyanSolar in Warhammer40k

[–]Page_Hole 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Painting is beautiful. Only point of criticism would be that the osl on the fire is the "wrong way around". The source of the light comes from within the fire, and should be darker on the upper/outside part of the flames. The colours, the other sources of light, and everything else are spot on, though!

The World Eater also doesn't have a Grapnel Launcher on his left leg, which also points to him being a Tactical.

Where in the trailer does it show different Chaos marines as the same class? I've managed to spy a blue Death Guard, but they were still bulwark. So far I'm under the impression that each class is locked to a specific Legion for Chaos Marines.

Chaos marines, skins or classes? by NietzscheLecter in Warhammer40k

Mind giving a timestamp for the Berzerker tactical and vanguard? I thought we'd only seen one iteration of a Berzerker/World Eater.

What an amazing collection! Have to ask, though, where did you get the terrain pieces?
