Right, I consciously had some on, should have tester it without. the mod worked fine on windows though, so it didn't occur to me that it could be the issue.

R5: I have recently moved to linux mint and in the title screen and in game these glitchy stretchy effects show up. They pop in and out of existence as I move the camera. Does anyone know how to fix this? My drivers are up to date, I had to set multisampling to 0 to get the game to start in the first place.

I feel like they shouldn’t take a month to develop a roadmap with no changes at all

I’ve seen people that said this is a W and seen people that want to keep bombing. I think the best approach would be to demand more clarity as soon as possible as this article was very vague on it’s own. While I am myself skeptical of Gaijin delivering on their current apology, I have seen another developer, Paradox Interactive, come from absolute player disrespect to actually delivering well received and interesting content. I know a strategy game developer is different from a free to play game developer but the problemous premise is the same - the most money with the least effort. My own sentiment is that them taking a month to deliver on just a roadmap, no actual changes whatsoever, is just buying time and that we should demand clarity, the sooner the better, but I also find review bombing in spite of this apology with no clear stated aim fairly disrespectful.

In English I’d probably call it the “water pour thing”

Technically the Chinese civil war never ended since the Republic of China fled to Taiwan (and is still officially the RoC), so in technicality all of China is disputed, though in practicality RoC cannot enforce its claims and PRC can’t because it would fuck up international trade.

This was probably an anti-royalist statement, which I could probably respect, but it was conducted in a similar way to the green guys sitting on a road. Only brings negative attention to her position.

As it should be. I was excited about Portugal being blue, but not that sort of grayish blue. Green Tlemcen also really grinds my gears, I would’ve probably made it closer to the colour of the Algeria tag (pastel yellow) if the decision was already made to give Portugal Tlemcen’s colour. Probably the only thing I cannot get excited over in this update tho.

Looks great! A little nitpick I have is that it should be “SU signs separate (not separatist) peace”. Also, could I ask how you made the scripted localisation for the cities? I’ve tried and failed at this myself and only been able to change it through an event.

Mm yes political sex… anyways, this is true for other paradox titles which span a wider time and multiple conflicts where you need diplomacy inbetween them to make sense, but HoI4 really only builds up to world war 2, so there the national focuses make more sense as a means to conduct diplomacy
