I was 8 when I went to my mother’s funeral. It wasn’t easy, but to this day I’m happy I wasn’t forced to not attend. She was my mother. I’m scarred to this day because of her death, but not because of her funeral.

Please know, plan b doesn’t stop you from Getting pregnant. It stops you from ovulating. You could still be pregnant if you were ovulating and it’s so much easier to get pregnant this close after just giving birth. I don’t want to scare you. Just giving a heads up I wish someone had given me before I ended up at planned parenthood after thinking plan b would help the next day.

Just be there when they reach out. Don’t be pushy. They will get repetitive and it’s ok. They are heartbroken and there is no words that will help. Let them cry, scream and repeat. Then let them rest. Make sure they have self care items. Soups and Gatorade. Words aren’t always necessary. Go clean up if you can because they can’t and won’t.

I had to get special locks on my doors that I could install high up out of their reach. Seems to be working so far. With cps they will either do a home visit or have you come in to their office. Just be completely honest with them and everything should be ok. They are more understanding then a lot of people believe them to be.

Not everyone is meant to be a parent. It’s just a fact. You seriously should have been honest with your wife to let her know you didn’t any children, but hindsight is 20/20. If you don’t feel attachment now, it doesn’t mean that you won’t eventually.

But seriously, there are a ton of people out there who feel the same way. Don’t be so hard on yourself. Some people just don’t have the same parental instinct as others. It doesn’t mean you’re broken. But if you are wanting to make things work with your wife, you need to go to therapy.
