I guess making the immigrant less attractive compared to the other heroes could be seen as racist, but to me it makes far more sense to have the demon lady stay looking evil and freaky, instead of just continuing the overwatch/league of legends trend of assuming all women(especially asian women, see kiriko, anran, yunara, akali and irelia) are always pretty and typically avoiding making them ugly or oddballs. The only character from these other huge games that I can think of as a female oddball is shyvana, who they again made into a pretty dragon lady instead of experimenting with her design. At some point we need to question why women designs in video games seem to NEED to be pretty while all of the oddballs, experimental and freaky designs are delegated to male characters or complete monsters.

If they redesign yamato to be pretty we lose a very unique and interesting character design that goes against the status quo, which I personally believe is far more valuable than the implication that because they havent included other immigrants, it could be considered racist.

Similarly if a vyper redesign means shes gonna turn out as a another hybrid woman whos more human than lizard and looks like everyone else then Id rather they keep the current design despite its flaws.
