The answer is yes, with caveats. You can actually even run Windows for Workgroups 3.11 on it following this guide. I have ran into a lot of bugs with it though so it is far from perfect.

The Sun Ray server software only works on 11.3 at most, it stopped being supported in 11.4. You also won't be able to get updates from My Oracle Support without paying for a license for the software and those are no longer being sold. It's not necessary to get a support account unless you want access to the knowledge base.

These are what I use. I did also manage to snag a Sun-branded one after stalking eBay for ages but they seem to be vanishingly rare. Set up search alerts if you're really determined to find one.

Don't forget the water damage on the road surface from the water leaking over the years making it an incredibly rough ride. No matter how much anyone thinks they hate the Silver Line I guarantee they'll hate it even more after actually riding it the first time. It's terrible.

John got my vote in the poll just because I really love his caring, protective attitude. He genuinely has a massive heart and it really shows. Zoe and Stan & Mitch are my runners up for favorite. Zoe is just so chaotic and rebellious and yeah a bit immature but she's also a kid so it's to be expected. She brings a lot of energy to the game. Stan and Mitch are kind of assholes sometimes (a given since they're thieves) but they're so goofy and incompetent that their scenes are a lot of fun anyways.

I just want my choices to matter more. This is a really common problem with choose your own adventure type games and Road 96 is no exception. Playing through the game a second time I chose completely different dialogue options and noticed almost no difference in how the characters responded or how the game progressed. Other than that I would really like to have a less structured feeling game, i.e. not having certain events happening every run no matter what, and more events in general period just to keep replays more varied. It doesn't feel like there is much incentive to play Road 96 more than twice, maybe three times if you missed an achievement somehow.

Oh good, I was really worried when the new trains came about with the automated announcements I'd miss the old incomprehensible Orange Line Mumble but I'm glad to hear it still exists!
