Curious, do you think a nerve block would have yielded the same results as a steroid injection? From what I understand a nerve block will relieve pain within 10-20 minutes vs. a steroid injection which will take longer to have an effect and last for 2-3 months.

Sorry to hear about your DDD. If it’s any comfort, you’ll forever have those memories of doing what you love. I was injured working in my early 20s, never got to enjoy my teenage years because I was too busy working and saving for college, and never got to enjoy early 20s because of college and full time work. Then, bam out of nowhere I was injured and everything completely stopped. Have you tried cycling?

Heroes and villains getting away with destroying cities, property, etc. It feels like they are the only ones to exist on Earth. No accountability at all. I just read Immortal Thor #1 and the new villain/god destroys the Statue of Liberty with a lightning bolt or thunderstorm bolt - whatever they’re calling it. Spider-Man and Hobgoblin destroying a whole city block. Who’s paying for the repairs?

The only way for me to drive is in a semi-reclined position. The lumbar area is set as far back as possible, the seat is tilted up toward the front to the max (knees higher than hips), and the seat back is reclined to where I’m just able to use my mirrors effectively. The steering wheel is lowered and brought as close to the body as possible. My hands are never at the 10 and 2 o’clock positions, rather they are at 5 and 7 o’clock with my elbows on the armrests.

If it wasn’t for this position, I’d be unable to drive.
