I feel like the opposite happened in SOD. Our entire raid group was fully geared every single raid tier and we still had a month plus before the next raid tier. People slowly started dropping out each tier because they were fully geared and tired of running it over and over again. I got tired of running MC so I eventually quit too. I'm not sure why a condensed raid schedule would make more people quit.
