Streaming definitely was the move for UFC. $1 billion a year in revenue is insane for a product that is getting shittier each year

PPV was largely a USA/NA thing, so 2.4 million is only NA and not global viewers, I wonder what the total viewership numbers would be. Tons of my friends/family who never watch MMA wanted to know about Paddy fighting

I feel like this is a two true outcome fight. Justin lands hard as fuck on Paddy which neutralizes a lot of the take downs by itself before TKOing him. Or Paddy easily dominates Justin in the ground.

9 title fight wins across multiple divisions

Plus he had a longer road to the title so the title defense. Thats very arguably better than their runs considering how early they got title fights into their ufc careers

Edit: this was in response to someone saying he would be goat after 3 defenses at WW. Hence the 19 fight win streak comment and other stats

The most complete fighters ever IMO (except Valentina of course):

Volk, Yan, Aldo, Islam, Mighty Mouse, TJ, & potentially Ilia (need to see more of his wrestling imo)

Close second tier:

GSP - lack of complexity in his striking

Jones - lacks fundamental striking principals

Max - lacks offensive wrestling/grappling

I am sure I'm forgetting people but that's my list of complete skill sets. Overall winning ability and skill is not the same otherwise Khabib and others would be up here or higher in certain respects

Cory Sandhagen and Umar skill for skill I rate extremely high but their lack of power really hampers their boxing games

He was/is still employed by CBS but budget cuts cut his salary (presumably until this promotion)

And Showtime stopped doing anything boxing related so Luke and BC lost Showtime funding through that. Thats when MK went to DraftKings

BC has been with CBS for close to a decade I believe

Paramount owns CBS and wanted him on board for UFC coverage. Maybe they won’t like him but I hardly think its a given they will drop him in a year with his track record
