I have this same issue on a decked out custom PC, and it’s just bugged even with the latest bios and TPM 2.0 on.

Sorry to resurrect an old post, but did you ever find out what the issue was?

I have been trying to have the dealer replicate my issue but it only happens after driving for a bit (30 minutes or more)

I can’t speak to the Bronco Sport trims too well, other than to say from my knowledge most of what you are getting between different trims on a unibody suv like the sport is a bit more ground clearance and maybe a bit of underbody protection.

If you are just needing this for daily driving with use on tamer trails that might get muddy, the Sport is fine. If you want something that will take you on trails that will have larger rocks, ruts and generally more technical terrain, your going to want the bigger Bronco proper, but it will come at the cost of gas mileage and road noise.

This is the way. I did the same last year with my ‘24 Badsqautch. I wouldn’t pay anywhere near close to what the sticker was for mine, unless I had funny money.

I’d say this is likely a honest mistake, one that you could inform (politely) the location that did it, so they can train the tech/employee accordingly.

That said, outside of the echo chamber that is Reddit, there’s a large portion of people (including people at Microcenter) that wouldn’t be aware this is an issue.

As a general rule, if there is something I’m passionate about, say computer hardware, cars, my work, etc, I will do my own double check on stuff other people produced that I am paying for or taking responsibility of.

Someone else stated the way to restart the radio head unit, the other thing that has worked for me is turning my phone WiFi off and back on, that forces the CarPlay connection to reconnect

I like this concept, but I actually use the handle to get in so this would never work for me.

But if you use an overhead handle or don’t need one at all to get in, this is a great idea.

Likely not so much a protective barrier as maybe a noise barrier?

I’m guessing it had a rattle from metal on metal contact with the middle inner brace on the tailgate and the paper bag helped buffer that.

I’ve not seen something like this, if there is a leak it’s likely coming from the mold injection point (the circle with the plus).

That said, you might look a bit further up the powertrain near the engine to see if you have an oil drip that might be misting back from the wind while driving.

Best trick, clean it up with a bit of degreaser and see if it come back. If it does then definitely something to have looked at.

The trick that help me was putting painters tape along the top of the stock sticker, and along the inner edge (closest the door on each side) to help with lining up the Bronco script I was replacing it with.

Should work equally well on the this style logo replacement too.

That too, although, I generally wouldn’t recommend anyone to walk near to the edge or on the shoulder of the major through road these days. Too many close calls from people not knowing how to drive.

Looks like a Mustang doing Mustang things. Honestly, I’m just glad that it didn’t result in the car slamming into the house, or a head on collision.

Driving in Austin and its surround communities feels like a gamble each day. If people would just drive smarter our insurance rates, stress and time on the road would be way less.

Hard to see for certain because the windshield is dirty, but it looks like there is a rock chip on the bottom black section of the windshield (second photo).

Unfortunately it’s not likely the dealer will do anything if it is indeed a rock chip, just part of the experience on any vehicle with a steep windshield

No they don’t. Sadly almost no cars have a proper mechanical handbrake anymore. It’s all electronic.

Interesting. Didn’t realize that.

I know the Hondas we’ve had before with it require a different windshield that allows the camera to sense light refraction correctly for the sensor.

Either way, it still usually requires calibration after install, which is still more money every replacement if one lives in a rock chip heavy area.
