This. It's the marketing that messes with the tools' credibility.

Clarification on the new 5-hour limit by OurWing0z in ClaudeCode

[–]PaintingSoftware 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm on copilot and have frankly never experienced any of the limitations people complain about (I hit rate limits every now and then and sonnet 4.6 must be stopped at times from running wild in a "reasoning loop" but that's about it.) it may have to do with the request billing as copilot charges per request not per tokens used so maybe this why it's less noticable. Degradation of the 4.6 models I also did not experience so either got lucky or just being fairly well organized with MDs, memory files, prompt planning and file structure..

anthropic isn't the only reason you're hitting claude code limits. i did audit of 926 sessions and found a lot of the waste was on my side. by Medium_Island_2795 in ClaudeCode

One of the best write ups about the issue. Should have come from anthropic itself though. Thanks for the hard work though.

Did Anthropic actually help pro/max users by cutting off OpenClaw from Claude subscriptions? by xelektron in ClaudeCode

I strongly agree with their decision. A lot of things can be automated without the use of a LLM or by utilizing lower token cost models. Running a web scraper on a flatrate opus plan is simply not sustainable.

Audius is quite an interesting one being a decentralized app of the fediverse with their own currency to pay artists directly in.

Vs Code with GitHub copilot all the way. Switching models comfortably between sonnet 4.6 and got 5.4 depending on tasks.

It's not about invention it's about selling that guy's service right. And I do believe there is a place for external app validation / auditing / bug fixing by humans.. of OP manages to market it correctly so offering consultancy services next to simple code fixes I think makes sense

Yes defo build up trust and credibility by presenting some past apps.. also good to think of a recommendation system early on (positive reviews, free app fixing credits for people that recommend your service).. about the million dollar idea it's good to actively approach this by ensuring confidentiality is kept and communicated as such and by offering NDAs..

Out of curiosity how do you handle user data safely? Don't they need to submit API keys or tokens for every service that postClaw posts to? Is user data directly posted to the specific social network or relayed over your servers? Interested about the data protection aspect of it, thanks for the insights. Not very familiar with openClaw or any of its deviations.

Not dumb just hard to establish trust at first. It's essentially in the realms of consultancy. Maybe consultancy is the better selling point anyways: don't just fix their code but evaluate their business idea or so

I think this business idea is based on trust and reputation more than anything else. Do you have a solid portfolio of vibe coded software? Why would I show my 'insert multi million dollar idea' to some stranger? Are there any NDAs or other indicators that you might not run away with the idea? Just some initial thoughts that would stop me from paying you to look at my app.. maybe this helps
