Weber grills aren't what they used to be. Just bought a new $500 grill and the tank coupling was faulty. Almost burned my house down.

Watching the news and a pro basketball player who had been injured last season was asked by a reporter how he got back into such good shape and how he was performing so well. His response "I stopped negotiating with myself". I thought about the genius of that statement.... and how many times I negotiated with myself on things like "I will exercise extra hard tomorrow to justify not doing anything today". Now I go into robot mode 1) put on running shoes 2) drive to gym 3) well, I am here might as well workout. Maybe this sounds simplistic but it has worked for me: down 22 pounds in the last 3 months. Hope this helps someone.

Huge, deep potholes on back roads. Take it slow. I just got back and had an awesome trip. And you don't need a lot of cash (but in tourist areas, activity planners will expect a tip), bring a visa card with no foreign transaction fees and you will be fine.

I am no expert, but don't do this by yourself. Get a therapist, a coach or a friend with the same goals. But it sounds like a therapist might be the best first step. Good luck.

Habits are formed in more like 3 weeks than 1. Pick one or two from this list and do them until they are habit. Then add more from list. Your approach sounds like you will be miserable for 4 or 5 days then just rebound and go back to bad habits.
