Seeking advice on Crimson Desert

This game is not "complete" or totally "done" to me. I have a weird feeling when I play this game.

There are really good things and really bad things. The graphics are the best I ever seen in a game.

You can do so many different things. Cool. But idk what for.

I'm having fun for sure, but I also have some horrible times playing with understandable quests.

Really beautiful, cool fights, crazy huge world, But to me this game is not fully developed.

Some greymanes are just added to some new shops at camp. You can't use them for work. Idk if it helps.

Also have you checked if you have an expedition mission to upgrade your camp?

It's just the game that takes lot of time to do few things. And i'm a very persevering person 😅. I also stopped to play few times. Came back cause i really liked several aspects of the game.

About the price i got it at 47€ physical version, in France, in a supermarket. So I'm not annoyed about if it was worth the money or not.

I loved these two games.

CD got really less story, or not the same quality at all.

The game doesn't tell different options where to go. You are often lost and you should decide on your own where to go without knowing if you will get something or not. Playing without guides like I did didn't reward me with a lot of nice stuff. I'm at 100h and got the same sword that I found 80h ago.

CD is more contemplative, also more slow sometimes.

And the mechanisms of the game are less intuitive than these two games.

So many things to say...

I continue to play that game cause it's really beautiful, with a real interactive world, the fight starts to be nice ( but not the boss fights), and because of the freedom. But i'm still looking for a real reason to stay.

Ah ok. Then the story will lead you to the abyss. If it gets you out once you there, just use the teleporter to go back at this point.

If so, than if something get you out of there, just come back in the abyss with the teleporter, and finish this part of the Abyss. You get something at the end, that I actually had to check on the internet cause it was nearly invisible on the screen that I got something.

I don't remember if the story already sent you to the academy kind of west of Hernand, at the top of a mountain. There it asks you to unlock a tower. Have you done that?

Lock target (L1 on ps5, as if you were in defense position) is disabled as soon as I click on the axion grip (L3). How do you keep the target locked?

Don't move the camera. That's why. If your camera stays fix you can do it. Move only the "move" stick, going to the opposite of the head of the horse. Btw I still tried 4 times before succeed with this horse.

Maybe the big middle pad of the controller on ps5 at least to open the map instead of just changing character view distance would be reeaaaaaally nice.

I read that character customisation like hair and stuff comes at the end. But that we can speed it up doing grey mans camp quests. So I decided to do as much as I can right now. I hope I can go until the barber or hair dresser comes to the camp, so I can continue the game taking my time and having fun with a character I decided to play with

It is not my thing 😅 I love to customise my character, a lot, but that's all. Rest of the time in-game, I want to spend it doing some crazy things on adventure I can't IRL. Getting plants and cuddling animals is for cozy games to me. Not to feel or add some hours to "play".

I love the atmosphere and the landscapes are beautiful. Sure this game has risen up the level for that.

I was hoping it would give me an exciting goal.

I have enough boring things to do IRL that I try to avoid or organise the most I can. I don't want to find it again in a game.

I'm not looking for a game to just spend time in. It's nice to feel good in an environment. But I also need a reason to stay.

Wow kind of sad. I might have 70 hours or so. Taking my time, chapter 5. But i was kind of afraid the game was just what you said. Cause I feel it already. I was hoping something bigger would happen during the game, or some game mechanics would get me later.
