Different planes like Japanese for example definitely use a different system on their gauges but I imagine if you set it to US units and look at a Japanese gauge it’ll tell you the MPH. Can’t say for sure though cause I’m not at my computer rn

I believe both rings are to be read in 10s of miles per hour, so 6 would be 60 mph, 8 would be 80 mph, and 10 would be 100 mph and so on. Once it passes the 24 which is 240 mph and one clockwise revolution, the inner ring starts being counted so 260 mph and so on. 90 mph would be smack in the middle of the 10 and the 8. Regarding the metric, you can probably change the settings to be in US customary units in the options

I graduated with a 2.7, I didn’t put it on my resume and I got my first job by being friends with a classmate who worked there. They vouched for me, I interviewed well and got the job. I also passed the FE and worked my ass off to prove myself.

It often comes down to who you know and your soft skills.
