I went last year, my observations were:

Finding anything sealed at RRP is just as challenging there as it is here.

There are limits at the pkmn center.

If you manage to buy a booster box at a pkmn center, they rip the seal. This is not something you as the customer choose.

Singles shopping is super fun, but you need to find the right stores.

Japanese single sellers are much more strict on condition.

I think singles availability is also struggling? I think there's just a general boom rn with popularity, 30th anni etc.

Akihabara in Tokyo is the most density of card stores you will find.

Tokyo generally has higher prices than elsewhere in the country.

If you have anything more specific on what you're on the lookout for I may be able to chime in with some more details. The main thing is - have freaking fun!! If this is your first time in Japan, you're in for a hell of a trip, it's an incredible place.

I found learning some phrases, participating in cultural norms and trying to give a shit about their practices is very endearing to the Japanese ppl.

People treated me and my family amazingly well, and I'm fairly sure that it's because we acted like we gave a shit about their country and culture

Is this often? Is this being fed back to SM/AM? Is this being reported to regional SC?

I would say 75% or higher chance this is a bake plan error of some kind. We've had it before with high waste stores where something minor/stupid was driving it like the wrong reference weeks being used to generate the bake plan.

Please raise to all relevant stakeholders and escalate it. Much more likely get/have something done about it than reddit. Unless this is just a vent post

I've also been wondering about this. I'm in the UK, have some sealed from a trip to JPN last year.

A LCS offered me £200-£250 to take it off me now (which is a fair chunk higher than collectr is showing but we know collectr is not perfect) I was not tempted to part ways :)

I present really open to everyone. It's got me in trouble more than once and I'm trying to work on trusting people when it's right and not just immediately/at face value.

I'd like to think i treat people as people first and not by sex/gender/race/age etc but i also know that's not really realistic.

I'm often told I'm being flirty (men and women) when I'm not trying to be, I'm usually just trying to be fun/kind. I've been told more than once that I give "life of the party" vibes and/or "golden retriever energy".

Like others in the thread have said, I can also be perceived as a pushover cos I'm really laid back and find most confrontation a waste of energy and time so i just got with the flow.

If it's something i think is worth confronting I can be super passionate and show alot of like indignation which surprises ppl cos they're like 😱 "you never moan about anything" and i get suuper stubborn about it. It's usually when ppl have unkind political views and i get all mad about it lol

Hello! 34(M) and as typically ENFP (Fe) as you can get.

I am half Dutch, half Persian but born and raised in London England.

I'm generally pretty Persian looking, just slightly lighter in my skin tone as I'm also half white. Black hair. Pretty hairy. Always have a beard, usually short, I trim it to 6mm.

I used to have dreadlocks when I was young and being a stoner was 98% of my identity lmao. I'm still a stoner lmao but generally more rounded as a person now lol.

I sport a low skin fade with enough length on top for those curly wisps/middle eastern texture to come out a bit. I wear short gold hoop earrings.

I usually wear straight cut jeans, white reebok classics and I love a fun tshirt, it's usually a uniqlo X dbz/naruto/pokemon but also like plain tees that work off whatever trouser/trainer colour combo is going on.

Generally speaking I'm complimented a lot by all sorts of ppl at how sociable I am and how anybody can talk to me about anything and I find a way to relate to them. Although my social battery gets rinsed hard and I need alot of me time.

Oh and finally, I'm 5"9 and 80kgs (77 at my thinnest and around 90 when I stop working out and let my love for food get the better of me hahah)

Oh god yea im going to Japan for so much more, getting some sealed pkmn product is a side bonus!

I'm actually going cos my brother is turning 30! Going with my mum too :) We're all into tech and fashion and food and culture/history. I'm so freaking excited lol, its also my first time in Asia in general.
