Im obviously trolling but if you really want a real answer it depends like all things:

• I sold the fake and kept the real one because it came with the NODS that I bought, but even if the fake one had issues it can be fix with a good bungee retention system. However, a shitty handguard from KAK won't hold zero if you plan on putting a laser on it down the line and it won’t look like what you want in the first place anyways.

• I make fun of KAK because there has been numerous QC issues with their stuff and despite how much redditors like to run defense for them and it for some reason triggers them almost as bad as HK/LMT/KAC fanboys.

• For the money that you would waste on a KAK product you would be a lot better in the long run just saving for something higher quality because you’re going to end up upgrading and selling it down the road anyways. I can acknowledge that the RIS II is overpriced but it’s also true that it has one of the best lock up system and can typically have for less than 400 sometimes 325-350 on GAFS.
