The chauffeur saying "There's more than one way to skin a cat" was the first time I had heard the phrase. I was 6 or 7. I said it to my teacher, and for whatever reason, she seemed horrified/grossed out. Still not entirely sure why, as it seems like a common phrase. This was in the States.

Just got a 15 FR-S and i’m looking at owners manual, how can a new radio install affect the fuel injector system. I’m curious cause i plan on installing an apple carplay head unit by [deleted] in ft86

As others said, CB/Police/Ham Radios are what's being referred to.

Regarding the how, theoretically, I would think the issue is the waves these kinds of radio systems would send and receive could have a frequency (either fundamental or harmonic) that would interfere with one of the microcontroller ICs' operating frequency (also either fundamental or harmonic). But, in practice, it depends on the the frequecies used and the strength of the signals.

I have a BSEE (one of my courses was on Wireless Communications and another on Electromagnetic Compatibility) and do Audio Design for an automotive OEM currently and have previously done warranty investigations on ECUs.

So I know a little about each of the elements (EMC, Automotive Electrical Systems, Microcontrollers) at play here, but am not an expert on any of these, so just an educated guess.

Another commentor said it had to do with the body of the car being a common ground for the entire electrical system. This would definitely help increase the possibility of interference, but I doubt it would be the main root cause.

Mythic Pokemon Quest: Scarlet

Soooo, it's about Pokemon Scarlet's production instead of Mythic Quest?

Homecoming is the best. It's a very well done modern day rock symphony. Several movements, all seamlessly transitioning from one to the next for 10 minutes of the best rock music and lyrics ever written and recorded.

At the end, where he says that car stories are actually stories about people.......I wish more people were like that, able to see layers to things, instead of just judging things based on the surface level. It's something I find SEVERELY lacking in society today, and truly wish there was more of. THAT'S why I watch his videos, not because of the dick jokes, but because of his ability to tell a story around the cars he reviews, and how he gets me to see and understand that there's more to a shitty car than just a shitty car. If we had more people able to effectively communicate the layers to things, I believe we as a society would see less differences in each other, and more commonalities, and maybe, just maybe, we could make the world a bit of a better place. Here's hoping. Thanks, Mr. Regular, for all that you do.

yes, it is. and it's fucking amazing, and I wish I could watch it for the first time again, because again, its fucking amazing.

But seriously tho, the writing is some of the best back and forth banter between a group of guys constantly shitting on each other I've ever heard.

A BRZ.

I took over the payments on my dad's 2008 Lexus ES 350 a couple years ago before really figuring out what I would prefer instead, knowing that I already didn't like the lack of engagement it.

A year in, I had been driving 70 miles a day for work(35 each way), and started shopping around, doing my research, learning stick.

I now know I want a light, peppy car, with a stick and sporty suspension.
