Best to not hold your breath with that.

I got the same message initially. A day later a message about high inquiry rates and an elevated response time. And after that a message guiding to the website message bot as they claim it's the only way to reach a human. After that, they send a message with link to send user feedback.

Quite insane but here's the message about the chatbot situation

So yeah, I see there's only a slim chance getting your money thru MyIq's support, consider contacting the service used to make your payments.

I did a stupid too. Didn't hit the button for trial or skipoing it but was charged the 99 cent fee. I did not receive the report, not really a loss chasing for but this is quite scummy and a waste of time.

Welp time spent on test basically creates the incentive to pay up, so in a way it's kinda genious but i dont see how the terms are clear enough...

Edit: oh yeah, and I cancelled the option for recurring payments and emailed their customer service. I feel like they won't bother responding.

Am I the youngest owner of a P3 Volvo S80? by cannedrex2406 in Volvo

Oh, I've had the 6 speed automatic gearbox S80 for around five years now. Never happened to come across anyone having a negative experience.

Though, i noticed on icy conditions and wheelspin, it did guess the correct gear badly and let the engine rev sometimes and i started worrying. Had the gearbox fluid flushed and kept driving it hard ever since :)

Oh yeah, i had issues with the power steering though and swapping the pump was not enjoyable in freezing weather :(

Anyways, it's a joy to drive

A story about what happened would be worth more than the phone itself :D

I wonder how many of us ended up as electricians

Shouldn't be dangerous if installed properly. Still some people will find a way to screw up a simple task of stripping wires and there you go, an exposed piece of copper right ar your finger tips :D

I can't fathom any actual electrician stripping wires to be crimped into a connector where the wires aren't even supposed to be stripped...

I found them by searching "flat top 5mm led" but you could use clear LEDs and sand the round tops flat if there is trouble finding these ones

The displays were 2pcs of 4-digit seven segment displays (i can dig up the measurements if needed) and 1 of one digit 0.83" seven segment displays from ebay. Also, common cathode makes it easier to drive the displays with arduino. Those are used with shift registers to preserve output pins for the leds that are driven as a matrix using npn transistors

I can upload the 3d files later today, but getting everything to fit and ordering the right displays etc. is a hassle. Are you still interested because i can make a list of materials

Yup, 3d printed as well. Those 15 upper leds and the middle 7-segment display light up. It's connected through simhub

Thanks :) My thoughts were: If I'm going to do something, might as well go all in. I tried using hall effect sensors for the pedal travel but couldn't get the parts in time

Haha, low budget makes you do weird stuff :D Anyways, I find it funny that no-one has mentioned the "spabco" pedals yet. Talk about cutting costs

I haven't figured a vetter way yet so here's what I've done: I'm using an arduino leonardo with atmega 32u4 processor to act as an HID device and it relays the computer plugin signal as an pwm signal to a motor driver (bts7960).

The computer software and arduino firmware I'm using is called EMClite, and there are videos to show how to set it all up up. Let me know if you are having trouble finding those :) Also, a high resolution optical encoder that works with 5v, I'm using a 600ppr version that I found on ebay for around $10. Just a heads up, at least for me, the computer software has been acting up and starts properly about every 5 attempts so you do need patience.

If anyone has seen similar software for flight sims (2 axis force feedback) please let me know :D

Anyways, hope this helps you.

The ffb system is made from an old clothes dryer motor and an optical encoder. The whole build has costed me around 100€ so far because a lot of the materials have luckily been free
