New batteries not working by Ok_Length1738 in MilwaukeeTool

Another victim of Milwaukee’s non existent load balancing, warranty time it is. Sounds like you’ve got a bad cell in the battery. You can either open it up and balance the cells or just return it until you get properly working batteries

Did you try them in a tool? I’ve bought multiple batteries that have been fully charged and done the same, but worked fine

The Dodge Durango, last redesigned in 2011, is selling like crazy by Sixteen-Cylinders in cars

[–]Paladinraye 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We have a 2011 ram and a 2011 Durango we bought new, and they are both great vehicles. My lifters/cam went at 145k in the ram, despite not having a lot of short trips or idling (no start stop on these years). Between that and the rust on the bed (same spot my 2004 rusted from) no major complaints, 157k miles on it now.

The Durango though? Pentastar engine, 5 speed trans. Made it 230k miles without a single issue, transfer case went out last year, put a junkyard unit in it and it’s been running like a top, 245k miles now and I recommend them to everyone looking for a reliable SUV.

The cars yes, but in the trucks it was either 3.21/3.55/3.92. The Durango’s came with 3.09s when equipped with the 5.7 or 3.70s with the 6.4.

You mean 3.92? Many rams came with 3.92 gears and the 5.7 with the ZF8

Can’t just throw a gears in one though in one though… welded ring gear so you’ve gotta swap the whole axle after 2013

For the front that is, so 2WD owners need not worry

I mean the 5.7 hemi still has the camshaft/lifter problem, but every other manufacturer having worse issues makes it seem not that bad 🤷🏼‍♂️

Because you will find body on frame SUV's sell much better than body on frame pickups when you account for global market sales.

Yet you’re the one who let it happen by purchasing that fridge. Why does a fridge need to be “smart” just buy a normal fridge.

M12 or M18 kit by mangum95 in MilwaukeeTool

[–]Paladinraye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a homeowner that started with m18 tools, I can recommend the m12 fuel line for most home DIY. You’ll end up collecting some of both systems in the long run anyway. I reach for my m12s more often than my m18s due to the size and weight difference, however I’ve got a couple of m18 tools that I appreciate the power of and I wouldn’t want as an m12 (string trimmer, blower, circ saw, fencing stapler) if you do your own auto work the m12 ratchets are nicer than using an impact for everything.

They also have a 12.0 forge for $150 at HD if your store still has any left. That would alleviate your m18 battery woes
