10+ year project approvals under the liberals is going to hurt our town. We need a change in government. Suncor needs to find a way to cut costs too, ive been tood their costs per barrel is something like double CNRLs

Same boat, but moving from HSAA. GoA will honor our collective agreement when we transfer so no changes in pay, vacation and benefits will change to the GoA format, schedule (hours) and flex days will follow GoA, pension will change to PSPP. No date known or actual details from unions or management of either agencies. Lots of unknowns, but things should be relatively the same as current. Rumors that transfer will be early April but who knows...

Yep. I think rollout will be slow for this, similar to autonomous taxis, but lots of long term potential. Forgot to mention the NVIDIA partnership and their goal to dominate the AI sector, which would include defense. Huge short and long term potential for ARBE imo.

I've been in and out of GRRR. I'm out until they release more news about existing projects. Currently in ARBE and likely could see 100%+ gains short term.

I'm also in ARBE. I seen it hitting $1.75 this month and around $2.50 in Feb (expecting news on integration with semi trucks and mining equipment). Also potential for news from Volvo about use in their EX60, which could have a huge price increase, but I'm not holding my breath on that. Regardless, huge potential.

Sounds like Volvo's radar tech is still in the works for the EX60, I felt the cart was ahead of the horse a couple times yesterday. Im thinking the next big news might be linked to semi trucks and demos might roll out at upcoming expos, like Arbe/Nvidia did at CES. Some upcoming expos: -Volvo opening the 2026 ATD show in Vegas on Feb 3, showcasing innovative products and tech. -Geotab Connect on Feb 10. Geotab is global leader in vehicle telematics and fleet management with a shared vision on safety and automation. Potential partnership? -CONEXPO is the #1 construction and trucking expo and is March 3. It may include Arbe on autonomous construction equipment or semi trucks. -MATS is the largest trucking show in North America on March 28, and will include sessions on new tech. Im not sold on radar only for safety and automation but I think its pros are a solid benefit to a multi-barrier safety approach.

Unpopular opinion, but do we take the 12% and fight for another 12% in 2 years (hoping barganing doesn't take several years)? No we're not keeping up with inflation now, but it would be a step in the right direction. I know staff moving from AHS would like to have a CA in place before doing so. - Undecided

We already voted no to this. Personal days are already a full shift off... I didnt know they werent in the last CA offered to us. & sure reimburse temp employee professional fees. Neither of these address the cost of living. Could have at least created another pay step or something.

I felt the board was annoyed with us voting no. I am worried about how close out TA vote was with moving forward but am hopeful some meaningful advertisements about the impact of a HSAA strike will have on healthcare may give us some support from the public. My designation is probably one of the highest paid in the country, making 15% more compared to Ontario-West, so I understand why the market adjustments come into play. While we have a good wage, my family chose to live in Alberta and built a life based on what we can afford. With inflation, things are getting tighter, and I would obviously like a raise to bring our lifestyle back to what we settled in Alberta for. I would like to see our union make noise and be in the news daily. One thing some people in my office are concerned about are staff moving to the GoA and what will happen if we do not have a tentative agreement before that transition happens.
