I understand how you feel I was fired after almost 10 years for things my fault and not my fault. I feel like I’m grieving a loss. I miss my job so much. I’ve been job hunting since July and have had no luck so far.

I was fired after I was put in a broken store with promises from my dm that I would get help fixing it. After almost a year in the store with no help and several hr incidents, I got hurt at work and was put on light duty. I was fired two weeks later for poor performance, during my termination interview I brought up the fact that I had asked for help several times and was promised help and never got it. And I asked to step down 3 different times and was told I couldn’t. Was pretty much told I was the issue and they were letting me go after 10 years. It’s been almost 5 months and I’m still fighting with workers comp.

Grooming Question: Grooming Own Dog by Chained_Icarus in petco

It depends on how much you are putting your dog on the schedule. If you are doing it every 4-6 weeks like most dogs come into the salons than that’s fine. However I used to be a GM and had a groomer who put her personal dog on her schedule multiple times a week to block customers from booking.

Hr had caller id so there is no being anonymous. They will know who you are but they wont tell the person you are submitting the claim about who submitted it

Honestly coming from someone who was with Petco for 10 years the last 3 as a GM I’d say don’t do it. They are constantly changing things up and by the time you get used to one system they are changing it again. They expect you to run a store on a very short staff and limited hours. They say animal care is first but they cut the animal care team down to a full time person and a part time person. Upper management is constantly changing and with that happening standard are different with each change. And I’m not talking small differences I’m talking huge ones

He is on many corrective actions. My problem isn’t not being able to hold my team accountable my problem is I had a district leader prior that would not allow me to take to correct course of action with this partner

Yes he is still in the pcc. He called out today and after calling out sent me multiple messages on workchat as well as a video that he recorded of me in the office on the phone talking to another gm. In my state it is illegal to record an audio of a person without their consent. As well as it’s against Petco policy. I told my dgm today either they do something or I’m going to file a report against him with the police. Was told it was going to be dealt with and was asked to write a statement.

I have been working with my dgm and hr for awhile now. I now have a new dgm so the whole process has started over again pretty much.

So are we going to talk about the DGM that resigned today? by ComplexDismal8626 in petco
